don't want to talk about the season...

can't spell a trow shus...

just want to see our forum boys in red and blue dominating the opposition... :)

bomberblitz have suggested sunday, october 16...

what do we think about the date ??

That date works for me, count me in.

I played in a game a couple of years back but am posting under a new forum name these days(previously known as Fuzz).

Date no good for me.

I'm wondering if GWS has a fan forum team yet? If they have I might come out of retirement for one last game so that I can channel some of my latent aggression on an unwitting orange clad cretin.

that way lies madness...

can't play without our coach...

what about the following sunday, october 23 ??

How do these matches work? I haven't played a proper game for some time but would been keen.

what time on the sunday 23 ? Is actually my wifes bday ..lol but shes got a shift so ...well....shhhh !!!!!

happily put my name down again for this, either date works for me

Either date is fine for me

Wonnabeeri is in again. Actually been playing again this year in the vafa so look out for a 'best on' performance.

Happy to stand in the back pocket and have one kick and an injury again

If this is an actual game, you can shove my 173cm 54kg arse in the forward pocket and watch me get smashed all day.

hat time Of day ?

haven't had to explain forum footy for a few years...

basically, all afl teams have unofficial forum footy sites like demonland and demonology...

the scum have bomberblitz, the saints have saintsational etc...

some 5 or so years ago, saintsational challenged us to our first inter-forum match, and we have been dominating forum footy since then against all comers...

we play a real footy game on a real footy ground (often gosch's paddock) with professional umpires etc...

highest quality players come from the amateurs, but there is always room for supermercado to re-injure himself...

it's a fun day, and a chance to catch up with other demonologists and demonlanders, and to meet people from the opposition sites who, it turns out, are footy tragics like us but just wearing the wrong colours...

knowing me I'd break Supermercado's injury form simply based on my left knee...but whatever.

Why the heck not? Assuming it's mid-afternoon.

Have to dig up a pair of boots, too...

Can I lay a claim to CHF? I've been played at CHB the last few matches, so would appreciate the chance to ignore all leads and just have shots at goal ;)

So I take it the game is played at no special time or does it take all day

So I take it the game is played at no special time or does it take all day

usual start time is 11am...

but bomberblitz hoping to arrange a round robin involving pies and blues...

if that happens, the games will go to 3pm or so...

Will play if it's the 23rd. 16th we've only just gotten back from Korea, and I might have lost 10kg while there due to a food related illness :lol:

Well might be able to help out the first game. Even don boots if short lol

G'day Rollo,

Tassie Dee arrives home from Europe 23rd, might not be up for it that day.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
