If the biff is maple, that might explain some of the late night events at the gat.

Never even been near the Gat. Judging by your comment and knowledge of late night goings-on, you have been. What are these events to which you refer?

Hayseeds find it difficult to slip into Gat life but after a while they thrive.

BTW, I it with mmmmph ... sad mmmph ...sadness that I note Fl og has "defriended" me. I'm very mmmmph ... hurt . I never been defriended before. Of Course I've never been "friended" before either. Anyway Fl og is an ungrateful little [censored] - considering everything I've done to for him.

I'm quite hurt about this.

Just Joking!! HaHa ! HaHa !

Sticks and stones.

Sadly, once again, I need to consult the brains trust of this thread for personal advice. It’s a bit like “Dear Dorothy Dix” or perhaps “Heartbalm”.

Anyway, today, I was described as a “thoughtless pervert”.

What am I to make of this? How should I have responded?

I don’t believe I am thoughtless. I have many thoughts. (Some, I admit, impure) Such a comment questions my intellectual credibility. It questions the whole notion of “ I think therefore I am” that some wog fella came up with.

I am befuddled. What is the proper response to the very hurtful label of being “ thoughtless”?

Honestly Bitty, this post shows you have way too much time on your hands and are ridiculously self obsessed. I would have thought that the term "thoughtless pervert" pretty much sums you up in two words.

befriended and defriended all in one day!

some of us take years to achieve such standards.

although i do think frog has been hurt by some things and time may bring us all back together into one lump of wrinkles, glasses false teeth, and walking frames in ODs case.

just on al clarkson,a young farmer down this way is recovering after nearly losing his life, its taken a toll on both he and his young wife, trying to run a farm is hard enough without such a terrible disease.but in als case maybe karma has found its mark.

A simple "thank you, your honour" would have been sufficient

How could one take offence with that?

So you can count Moon!

Yes but they are always genuinely regretful the next day.

Biff Biff - I think you may have mixed up your social and 'business' communication here.

Another one for you to classify Redleg....

I think I may have figured out why we haven't heard from a few (ie. Stuie, Frog, Song) this thread recently. Someone went to the U.S. and bought the Hoff's KITT car for $150 000. Or, Biff Biff, is this how you are cycling your business takingd from the Gat?

No drinking before sundown during the week as the boss would frown on that (even though I'm sure Biff would encourage it amongst his employees).

Was just trying to make the point that elephants appear to be much friendlier than alpacas when under the influence of illicit substances. :-)

fair to say though that any stoned animal would be friendlier than one of bbo's stoned alpacas

he has only got himself to blame, for years of abuse and being such a poor role model

Moonie, was it the Biff Biff bit or the reference to someone possibly having the unfortunate taste to buy the Knight Rider car from one D Hasselhoff that elicited this advice?

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
