Indeed suspended. He can mull over his wrong doing whilst peeling back a banana or thousand.

I may have overlooked the membership statement - I don't recall that, what I do recall was his tipping point if they didn't pick up Hogan. Phew that was a close one. JH's back injury may have tipped him.

so, 426 eh? how long to peel a thousand bananas? some of here achieve that weekly - LOL

I had coffee this afternoon with an old friend who happens to be a dees supporter for almost as long as me.

Said he has completely disconnected with the MFC after the 2012 season and then AFL at senior level goes to his local Amos team.

I ask would you come back?

He said doubt it I am now used to a non AFL existence, just so much easier and more fun.

He enjoys following a team that wins as many as it loses and he always feels his side has a chance.

Interesting that he said he no longer worries about the financial problems, does not take millions to field his side.

Running costs are low and generally has a good time.

Lost him I think barring a possible GF appearance I doubt he would be back.

In general conversation he said would never be a member again.

If we became a good side he might be persuaded to go to the odd game but it would be a GA if at all.

My local team are the 2013 Premieres!

But to the 10 year Premiership draught was a little hard to handle.

I could handle that DF.

Ten years between drinks would mean we have 16 flags now and another this year.

No I have not been drinking but it sure does look like it.

Ah, now I see. You are the result of some unnatural cloning experiment. I suppose that explains a portion of it. Now answer my question!!

Sure.

Every post of yours indicates to me that your are stressed and in need of some Premiership success.

Some of us would sign up for both insane and weird ... being a Dees supporter qualifies anyone for at least one of these ...

A general, evasive and slimy response. Totally unsatisfactory.

I have just rerun the numbers on my computer and discovered that your main issue relate to your secretly support of the Geelong Football Club.

It appears you been in denial of this fact for some many years now its caused great depression and despair.

But there is an easy answer to this issue Bitter. EAT MORE BANANAS.

Lets look at the stats OD

During my life time the MFC has won 0 premierships.

However I have supported another AFL team who had won 2 premiership's

The WPFC has won 7 premiership's during my life time for a total of 19.

I can not see the MFC winning a flag for at least another 5 to 10 years.

However the MFC is my team and I accepted that there would be little premiership success when I started supporting them.

Very sad news. Jockey Nathan Berry dies of virus caught while in Singapore. Condolences to his family and friends.

There is no doubt that I have over the last two years been slowly disengaging from the MFC

I no long have any expectation of winning, I went to less games in 2013 than 2012 I have been to one game this year and will not go until round 6 as I have other engagements and an interstate game this week.

I do not get angry with losses any longer.

This morning I turned on the computer and there were two emails from the MFC, as I was deleting them it occurred to me a seldom read emails from the MFC any more.

The human brains ability to block out painful things is a wonderful thing.

I suspect that if this year continues to follow the trend of the last two I will have stopped the hurt completely in six months time.

2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
