Anyone notice a S Martin got a game at the Lions this weekend.

I assume it is our X boy Stef.

Might be one MN got right.

If it is Stef it has taken nearly all talls to be out before he was considered. Beamer also struggling. Both will be delisted at year's end.

Yes and Biffen can confirm this. It's a little side earner he has going - just don't ask how he obtains said dentures.

BTW the text on that poster is incorrect . It should read - "since they were brother and sister". Cousins marrying among the filth is virtually compulsory while sibling marriages are less (slightly) common and therefore somewhat newsworthy.

I can never agree the MN did any thing good at the MFC OD. I Think my view is based on the fact that he lead us to a 15 plus goals a week losing score.

IMO MN was a virus who needed to be purged and never spoken about again.

Worst 18 months of being a MFC Supporter I can remember.

How many side 'businesses' does Biff Biff have? From what I've read, it is quite a diversified portfilio.

Has had a long time out with injuries, came back early with not much preparation due to said injuries, had a sensational game.

You're both incredibly wrong.

Far too serious for this thread, Stuie.

Think you missed out the comment "So There" at the end of your last statement.

Do remember the player but if he does not play for the MFC then IMO it open season on him.

Great game by Steph Martin. Will probably carry the Lions rucks for the rest of the year, if he can stay fit.

Did not see the game Redleg but I notice he was in the best players.

I always had a soft spot for him.

Hope he continues on.

Nah Maple! That is just Stuie being his pig headed, obnoxious, self centered pissant self.

Indeed! Don't attempt to list Biff's pecuniary interests, it is far simpler to remember that they are either illegal or immoral - usually both!!!

I am getting a feeling you don't like him Bbo?

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
