probably got that last bit right jazza

Not so sure about the bit about jazza making sense, though :):):):):)

its not for everyone

It is an acquired taste, but well worth the acquisition ...

he sent me a PM and it went along the lines of redleg and i being the only people that made sense and maybe he should find a site with younger posters.

personally i think he is worried about coming to victoria to see a live game.well not the game but the after game drinks.

he thought biff and BBO would take him to the gat and that would end his marriage and all brain cells he had left.

He probably just needs to get away and visit you Jazza. Get down and watch the Apollo Bay Hawks score a win. Toughen up at a country footy game. A few beers and a meat pie, maybe pick up a squeezer at the Lavers Hill pub. That'll get him back on here and ready for more insults from BBO.

I feel the same, OD. I was never a member, but a keen supporter back in the heady days of Gaze and Copeland. Now it seems it is another corporate sellout, creating yet another artificial team which will probably lose support. Then to hear Chris Anstey, of all people, talking about cutting off basketball families from the professional level because they couldn't stand the Tigers, .... well, you just lost this supporter![/quote

So the nett result R and B is they gain a few thousand tiger haters and lose a few thousand tiger loving members me being one of them.

I maybe wrong but I reckon their will be little overall gain.

Anyway the NBL has lost me there is plenty of other sport on over the summer.

I think you are right, OD, sadly. Long summer walks in a nice garden are already looking better ...

probably beech forest pub better, the woman can carry you home, and work if need be in the dairy .

I think I've found the perfect ensemble for Frog to wear when you gents head to the local watering hole, Jazza.

For you, Redleg ...

That is unacceptable. Surely someone could tell them they come from the grocery store.

Exactly Redleg the same place milk comes from.

It's a pity Mable Demon isn't online - she could make the acquaintance of Biffen - that would either send her back to Canadia ( or whatever it's called) or to where Fl og fell off the world.

I've also heard it referred to as America's hat, Bitter.

Wondered where you'd gone to. As I hadn't seen Biffen posting for a bit, wondered if you two had gotten up to some sort of hijinks and ended up in the clink.

Where do I get them?

As they say in the classics, I think you can get them "on the line":blink:

I owe him about ten bbo

Only ten? :blink::blink:

But I'm better now.

The anti-psychotic drugs are working then Biff? How do you continue to conduct your business so successfully under such conditions?

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
