leaving the game yesterday, saw a drunk telling everybody "i predicted this" and giving it to carlton supporters.

Finally after 12 losses and we picked the right team to beat.

ATM I would give Dunn our most improved player award.

It's funny to reflect back a couple of years where several Demonlanders wanted Dunn and Jones out. In fact some wanted Dunn out at the end of last season.

I reckon Dunn is currently second in the Bluey.

Not sure he needs his jacket back.

hey bbo. i hope you gave the lads an extra round of oats this morning

They left early on a fox hunt. I would like to have a hot toady toddy for their delectation upon their return.

Enjoy!

I had a great weekend ,

Spent Saturday afternoon With some old friends ( do I have any other sort? ) great lunch and afternoon in Richmond.

Spent most of today with my GD, we visited the new Museum ( first time for both of us ) she makes me want to live another twenty years.

Beautiful weather both days.

Great to be alive in Autumn in Melbourne.

Oh I almost forgot

The DEES WON

Yes big weekend.

I prefer to think of myself as a kind of boozy soothsayer rather than a drunk.

I saw your braincells at Stus disco.

The were sitting on a cistern in the dunny.

Best to forget about them and press on.

The handcuffs the police use these days are totally unsophisticated- more like cable ties.

Needless to say they were no match for yours truly.

Would bring in Toumpas or Blease.

Red you know thats not the MFC way.

Lets bring in the slow, useless and otherwise VFL standard players.

As many please have told me on DL winning is not important.

Have we found the Professor yet?

Edited by DemonFrog

My Boss is very quiet about the football today.

He is a Carton supporter so maybe its better to leave him alone.

What do you think?

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
