On the way to Springsteen concert, as I type Redleg.

You will have to cheer for me.

Good luck we can do with a bit in 2014.

Win would be really nice but I have zero confidence.

In fact if you can have less than zero ( sure you cannot) then I have it.

I can't see us winning tonight unless the Tigers don't give it their all. What I want to see are the new personnel and some improvement especially in the midfield. A close game would be a good result.

Agree entirely RL. Let's see what some of these blokes have to offer. Eg Toumpass, Watts and Dom Barry. Would have loved to have seen Hogan.

Lacking rhythm Bitty?

Back in the sixties/seventies the church tried to sell the rhythm method to good catholics. I thought it referred to rate of stroke and well .. look at me now. The church has much to answer for.

Went to Springsteen last night and missed the big win.

On the way home after getting the result My daughter said "perhaps it is you Dad"

She might be onto something

Finally the solution!

Come on OD let's have a glimpse of optimism. A memorable Dees win and the Aussies giving South Africa a touch up.

Btw I couldn't help but notice how calm but intense Roos looked in the coaches box. There is certainly a gravitas about him. I can still conjure up visions of Neeld constantly scribbling (obviously useless) notes.

I haven't felt this upbeat since the day I ran over a lyrebird.

You must have been blinded by the light because you went to the badlands by river on the wrong side of the town instead of going to Etihad where Bernie announced, "I'm on Fire". Glory days are coming for those with hungry hearts.

Was it a long walk home?

Read my over comments Bbo

I have a Richmond mate around this morning to help with a domestic job.

Oh joy today is about to get better.

In case you cannot see it Bbo here is my other comment

WOW did not see that coming!

"In actual fact I did not see anything last night went to Springsteen and got out to find we had won.

I seriously thought we would struggle last night.

Great way to start 2014 could not have been better considering the players missing.

I can only imagine how good the players must have felt after the last two and a half years.

Should bump along memberships next week.

Go dees"

Caution is not in my plan today!

Perhaps he did some dancing in the dark? And were you born in the USA, WJ? :-)

Disgusted they left Shannon Byrnes out of the final squad last night.

Yeah they played that young kid number 24 who is obviously hopeless. Our future is clearly with Byrnes.

Is that like killing a mocking bird? You sound like a sick man, BBO :-)

Another six months and he will be ancient history.

May be some help at Casey

Sat near the Coaches box last night. After the game I congratulated Jackson who sat in the box and he acknowledged me as he walked past me. I also congratulated Roos, who was deep in concentration as he walked to the rooms and didn't even offer a sideways glance to me.

I have to agree with others that these two guys are our best recruits in ages.

I really liked Georgiou's game. Thought he slotted in perfectly.

We have added that much needed pace in Jay and Dom, to complement Blease and even Kent. We will be a much more composed and competitive team, when our best are on the park.

Thought the experience of Vince and Cross was just sensational, they don't waste possessions and are just so clean with the ball.

More like an albatross, I should think.

You ran over an albatross as well? You must drive a tank! :-)
