Don’t say that until you see the quality of the booze that the lawyers come up with

You don't like the $3.00 bottles of chardonay and sav blanc at Dan Murphy's?

Snob!

Well that was a fizz !

Put a selection line through Handscombe, Maxwell and Stoinis and start looking for replacements.

A bright light through the series was Carey who must now be in serious consideration for a test birth.

Went out for dinner with the wife and another couple last night and joined by WJ who was solo with his wife away.

I actually thought it was basil Fawlty's restaurant.

The service didn't exist.

No fish or veal as they ran out at 7.00pm.

My wife's meal came 1 hour after the rest of us got ours and was inedible.

WJ and mine came about 20 minutes after the other couple got theirs'.

I actually started to look around for a camera.

As we walked out another table had half the people eating and the other half waiting for their meal.

Lastly we spoke to another table who had been waiting over an hour for something to eat.

I should have gone into the kitchen to say hello to Basil and Manuel.

Agreed! It's possible but the Kiwis lack depth. If their big guns fire they are a chance.

This sort of stuff amazes me. The food industry is highly competitive and notoriously fickle. Places than don't bring their A game consistently don't last.

Although if it's frequented by lawyers it must be a seedy establishment anyway.

and the name of this fine establishment Red....so we can avoid !! lol

I've heard that they knew in advance a couple of lawyers were to be there.

Other nights its a hatted restaurant.

Not really, my guess is that responding to me has cost two clients 22 minutes and 47 minutes respectively, (based loosely on ability to pay). Getting them to fund a suit against me may be beyond even your remarkable skills, heaven forbid funding it yourself!

NB: Due to diminished capacity, not worth the effort.

Not suing you, suing the Restaurant. Why would we sue you?

Jointly and severally? No, good point why sue me? Mind you we did place a huge takeaway order just as you arrived.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
