Heard today that VCE kids on muck up days had gotten themselves some bad publicity by interfering with chooks, (missed the second species), and alpacas!

Now we know Biff has a bit of a thing for Schoolies. But maybe, knowing the location of a flock of randy alpacas, he has gone feral prior to the big events at Lorne, Gold Coast etc. and is in pre-season training while hiding out under the nose of a celeb poster somewhere in the Macedon Shire???

You are getting BBO mixed up with Biffen dc

i think you mis-comprehend moonie. maybe stuie could explain it to you :o

Rules to live by?

Just heard from Bifffen. Well he wanted money actually. Seems he has rent problems at the Gat. He has done poorly on the punt.

Who would believe the 3 favourites won the trifecta.

All the bookies on telly said it would be different.

After a quite decent Bobbie Burns Shiraz I'm enjoying an Irish / Canadian fusion band at the Nicholas pub in Beechworth with lots of Kelly history. There's a framed guernsey signed by The Ox on the wall.

Doesn't get much better than this.

Sunday 30 & 22

But it's still Saturday, Red. Don't take un-lived hours away from me! Unless they are hangover hours.

A very hurtful and I must point out, inaccurate slander against my good name. For a start, I no longer do idolatry. I suppose you could replace that with drunkenness and I'm usually , sometimes .... skip honesty for the moment. But if I was totally honest, I'd say add gluttony and of course lust. Then there is avarice, indolence and is incontinence sinful? Best I stop now.

Should you not be flagellating yourself right now for Ashura.

As arguably the biggest Shi'ite on this forum I think it is incumbent upon you.

it's monday and the silence from red is palpable

i need my countdown fix

29 and 21.

I looked to the moon (through BBO's legs) and the branches pointed to the east {stiff breeze}. And what a sight to behold.

Much like this collectors item:

Red Ol' Master would be a proud man.

Ah yes, I looked to the heavens and saw the future and you are in that future as a budding countdown star. No, not the "he who can't talk" Molly Meldrum countdown, but the far more important, Demonland Draft Countdown.

Keep up your studies and practice well and as the Nun said to the Bishop, "it's not that hard" and no my son it isn't that hard, if you continue on the right path to Countdown Mastership.

What sick fantasies do you have H_T, looking at me in that way.

Fair question Moon. However, I also have concerns - who could possibly choose the view between my legs ..... although there was a trombonist .. sadly deceased - but I'll not go into that.

Only you could make such a sacrilegious comment Biffen. I hope a Mosque is built next to the Gat.

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the  Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measly 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
