Ah yes, I looked to the heavens and saw the future and you are in that future as a budding countdown star. No, not the "he who can't talk" Molly Meldrum countdown, but the far more important, Demonland Draft Countdown.

Keep up your studies and practice well and as the Nun said to the Bishop, "it's not that hard" and no my son it isn't that hard, if you continue on the right path to Countdown Mastership.

    souvlaki and pizza shops are fast becoming passe and chop suey and curry are more the menu du jour

    had a lovely #24 last night

    Dr John. You are clearly a man of letters ...and numbers... so you maybe able to help me out with this. I have heard (yes I know hearsay) that in certain establishments in SE Asia that young female employees are in fact, identified by a number that is textered on their .... argh ... person.

    Apparently the idea is that if you wish to have an intellectual discussion with said young ladies, you ask the maitre d to invite, let us say number 69 24 over to your table.

    Is that your understanding of the process?
