Morton would fetch very well on the open market, Tambling got a end of first round selection, and Morton has shown more that him.... people who are writing the guy off are silly, the article is about how other clubs WANT THIS GUY, his attributes alone will fetch a good pick, i still wouldnt trade him not right now

Actually i disagree wit this logic. Its the very nature of the compromise which wil raise the stakes. With limited access to kids , in order to develop in the normal practice, then the market of ready mades becomes even more juicy.

God, we'd want a better reward than what Richmond got for Tambling.

Has a bit of a stock market feel to it doesn't it - we bought high and would be selling low if we sold right now. There's a heap of upside though, so my strategy would be to hold on as the potential dividend/payoff later far outweighs the salvage value we'd get now.

If by late first rounder you mean "end of first round" which was 27 last year and will be similar this year, with the situation Adelaide are in they wont be able to get value form it until 2 years after they received it, so maybe 4 years before they get a consistent first team player with 20 games experience if they pick someone decent.

1. Do you think this club has a winning culture. As in a sense of belief that we will end up on top?

2. Do you think over the last 47 years we have failed to develop players to their full potential?

3. Do you equate AA honours with team success?

I suppose we should keep our options open, but he is a first round pick who had an interrupted preparation. prefer to see more. he should be stepping up to the plate by now.

Languishing in regret changes nothing.

The club has virtually rebuilt itself, do you believe that it has done so with the aim of achievement? I believe it does, but success won't come without stoppoing to check yourself in the mirror and making sure that you are'nt being too insular and unnacountable. Criticism be it self or otherwise is integral to the "change of culture".

We want the club to HTFU, how about the rest of us?
