That's the best sledge on Mortons performance so far tonight!

Morton "played" tonight.

Correct and to name two forwards out when they hardly saw the ball? Bennell was ok through limited opportunity.

Thought Trenners and Jones did well, the rest can fight over the outs.

If it was based solely on tonight's game, you would drop 18 players. So realistically:

IN: Petterd, Maric

OUT: Morton, Woneamirri

Morton is a soft player. I have never been so frustrated by a player. Wona is a touch stiff, but he played in the midfield for alot of tonights game and got smashed. I can't think of anyone else I would drop though, even accounting for how bad they were.

Based on tonight and the previous few games I could see a reason to drop almost every player.

It is hard to blame the forwards, as the ball never gets there, and when it does, the delivery is usually average.

It is also hard to blame the backline, as the are under the pump for the majority of the game (even when we are winning) due to our tactic of letting other teams carry the ball into their own forward half before we decide to put pressure on them.

That being said, without even watching the Casey game I would bring in Petterd, Maric, Blease (if they think he can run out a game).

I would drop any of Green, Davey (but I know they are both safe, despite the fact they have iven little to nothing this year) Bennell and Dunn.

My god we need Scully and McKenzie back. We need speed and tackling pressure and we need to bloody atack the ball and opponents and start to gut run. It is so frustrating.

Brad Green was the most disappointing last night. Can't drop him though. And we delisted our performing captain.

Without a doubt, Bennell has to go.

So many players were rubbish, could drop them all . . . .

OUT: Bennell, Morton

IN: Two guys who give a [censored].

Unfortunately I doubt the FD has the balls for it but after 5 games this year it is time for

A large number to be sent to Casey if for no other reason than to show we need more effort.

Out: Wona,Bennel, frawley, Morton and Green ( that will not happen )Tapscott will be suspended.

In: Warnock, Mcdonald, Strauss, Maric, Petterd and Bate.

I am very serious about Green I have only seen 1 game from him this year where I thought he earned his spot.

It is time for a big statement how much bigger would that be?

But alas I don't expect much from our Coach.

Playing half a season we would have got more out of Mcdonald that we have so far out of Green.

Tapscott will not even be cited. He didn't hit him in the head. He didn't raise an arm. It was just probably a little far from the bloke with the ball but he could mount an argument like Barry Hall that it was in the motion of making a play or run...

Out- Dunn, Bennell, Morton (as much as it annoys me)

In- Petterd, Maric (as long as he plays ok at Casey), Blease or Strauss (if they put in another good Casey performance)

Bennell, Davey AND Wona should all be dropped. Soft passengers. Morton and Grimes have stalled and deserve a run in the two's.

MAcdonald, Petterd, Bate all deserve games and we may as well see what guys like Cook, Blease and that have.

Not sure Tapscott will get week though, wasn't high contact and he was fine after it.

Out:Bennell (sure he does a couple of nice things a game, but it his work off the ball that concerns me. When was the last time he applied some forward pressure?), Morton( I'm not sure what his role is these days), Dunn

In: Petterd, Maric, MacDonald

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well …

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
