From Twitter,

DemonsHQ Tom Scully will chat to the media tomorrow morning. Melbournefc.com.au will have all the updates for you.

That dosen't sound like a press conference although "media" meaning many?

Interesting...A Melbourne Football Club announcement is very different to a press conference....

I'm predicting it's going to be the lamest "media gathering" of all time.

Scully will talk about having a great pre-season despite a minor setback with his knee, how he's looking forward to play for Melbourne this year and hopefully making finals. He'll field a few questions about GWS, insist the external pressure is just that and has no impact internally, and that he will sit down with his management at the end of the season to look at his options.

Demonland will then go into yet another meltdown, people will virtually slit their wrists, some will call for calm, and after another 1900 posts a mod will close the thread and tell us to move on, until Scully dominates on Saturday and somebody starts a "OMFG we are going to loose (sic) the best player eva" thread.

Good times ahead.

I refuse to be cynical ! He has agreed to address the media tomorrow in spite of intense speculation about his future and he cant be noncommittal or it would just fuel the fire. He WILL give us good news !

Patience is so short, the thread will be closed before it reaches 200 posts.

And the season has not yet started - Gubby's plan working to perfection on the supporters.

Fingers crossed there's not enough stupid people out there to actually chase Scully out of town like Gubby hopes.

I'm sorta hoping he's going to announce that he is going to challenge Brad Green for the leadership.

All I want to hear is for him to resolutely announce that he has finally slayed the GWS monkey on our backs. If not, then do the honourable thing.

It's pretty obvious that the media gathering is because Scully wants to announce that he's quitting football and going to replace John Galliano as head designer at Dior.

He will then be sorting out the dyeing issues with our jumpers.

What a star.

As long as he can keep his anti-Semitic rants confined to the privacy of his own home then he should have a good career there.

That facepalm deserves a facepalm... that's an orang-utan, not a chimpanzie :-)

He'll show up looking tired and worn out and declare to the football world that he's a "Total Fricken Rockstar from Mars."

Then be ushered away by twin buxom personal assistants Candi & Brandi before further questioning .

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
