Tampa 31 Chiefs 28. Have ridden the Brady train this far so.......................

Would have posted earlier but I got burnt by the Browns late in the regular season. Tipped them then found out when the game started that most of their offence was in Covid quarantine

Chiefs are killing them selves. Terrible punts, not offence, dropping easy catches and their D is continually giving up terrible penalties.

14-3 with 6 mins left in. Second. Gotta score a tad before the half and not allow one for TB. 

TB D has been solid, running game is going great and allowing Brady time to throw as accurate as I’ve seen.

I would rather be in front than behind at halftime. I say catch me if you can.  Brady the greatest QB  of all time and that will be put to bed for all to know,.

Patrick Mahomes poor first half  compared to a great first half by a 43 yo Brady. 

The KCC will have to find something special to get up in a super bowl game, being 15 points behind.

I would but the D is being slaughtered. Andy is calling poorly, their punter is so bad they should sit him.

They have to score a TD this opening drive and 3 and out the Buccs to get the momentum

Yeah changed my mind 5 mins in. Too much shooting themself in the foot.'kicked themselves out of it. Arians and Leftwich have coached well.

Haven't decided if it was a great game for the general public but for those of us that appreciate championship defense it was brilliant. TB12 undoubtedly the GOAT now, he's squashed the silly 'he's Belichick's puppy' argument now. 

Mahomes and Reid had a very off night as Gorg correctly called it early. I thought we'd see a bit more open offense plays called in the second half but too many dropped balls and more stupid penalties cost them. Mahomes is special no doubt and he and the Cheifs will be back no doubt. Personally I was glad the torch wasn't passed just yet.

@Go the Biff picks up his 2nd post season award after overtaking @Dee Zephyr after today's result.  Getting over the line by correctly picking the Tampa SB victory

Well done GtB and fully deserved too.  You stuck with Brady right throughout the playoffs and it paid off

Well done to DZ as well in finishing 2nd - DZ was the first to post up his tip for the SB (which gave the rest of us a chance!)  Nobility is alive & well

And thanks to all for your participation.  The post season comp has worked better with the bonus points on offer (in my view) but I also believe the regular season comp should stay as it is.  Let the tradition continue

Thanks @Macca. Joe Montana got me into this game but Brady is the GOAT. I had a feeling he'd be looking for Gronk & Brown today. Fournette & Jones were great too - all the senior citizens had a day out. Thought Shaq Barrett should have been MVP though.

What I wasn't expecting was that weak effort from KC. Where the hell was that 12 months ago when I really wanted it ???

Thanks again for running the comps. It really does broaden your interest in the NFL instead of just following your own team.

Bring on next season. Can we get Aaron Rogers to the 49ers somehow ?

This times 1000. Barrett and to a slightly lesser extent Jason Pierre-Paul had as much influence on the result with their pressure on Mahomes. Mahomes is great fun to watch though.

It was a much better game than the margin suggested. Chiefs played as dumb as the Raiders often do.

Strange year for Fournette. Got cut by the worst team in the league and ends up with a ring. As does Blaine Gabbert.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
