Who said this tipping comp is hard ?   6 road winners in 2 weeks, unheard of

So out of the 17 weeks a decent tipping year might see one get 3 road winners about 5,  6 or 7 times.  1 in 3?

But at about 6-1 or 7-1 odds for the tri-bet that's a handy return.  Not that I'm encouraging gambling of course!  Just thinking out loud JV.

*Always gamble responsibly

And you're a renowned quick starter from the gates (Schillaci) so I've been watching your tips closely ?

Just need to remember who finishes well ... maybe DS? Gorg? Clinto?

If anyone is looking for the lines and the Bill Simmons podcast,  they are on the previous page.

As for Eli ...

Terry Bradshaw reckons he'd have much better results in a better team so if he was to move,  he might be able to help out a contender

The Steelers have lost Ben for the entire season but Eli as a Steeler has an odd look about it.  Maybe the Jags but Foles would step back in mid season you'd imagine.  Same deal for the Saints & Brees.

But it's a win now league so there will be an offer or 2.  He'll probably just stay at the Giants and they still need to pay him the big bucks.  But it wouldn't surprise me if he did end up elsewhere.  It can't be assumed that Eli would be happy being a mentor all of a sudden.

Tough week. Lot of short priced home teams. Good luck punters

Rams, Bears & Panthers. Can't say I'm all that comfortable with any of them

Here are the games again

Just had a look at the division winner odds... Falcons $3.30 to Saints $1.67. With Brees injury not bad value.

Jags on the board. Minshew looks like he might be up to the grade.

Got ahead of myself in the tipping ? good win by the Jags. Titans disappointing, strange side to get a gauge on. Smashed Browns, go down in a close one to indy then lose to a backup rookie QB (who as clint said looks a likely type)

Minshaw looks pretty good.

Titans were [censored] atrocious, going for it on 3rd and 6 when you have 0 points on the board... insane! Did you see the players faces when it didn’t work and they got zero reward... deflated them and the game was truly over at that minute.

Antonio Brown released by the Patriots after one game.

Yeah I just saw that, McVay was asked if we would look at Brown and he said “you look at everyone, but we are pretty happy with our WR core.”

Even without the latest allegations against him, he’ll be trouble for any team. Career most likely over.

I’d normally say the Browns will look at him, but I’m not even sure.

Falcons, Rams, Bears

Bears, Falcons, Giants

Rams,  Panthers,  Falcons

Raiders, Falcons, Giants. It's a nightmare tipping week with so many back up QB's on the road.

Falcons come on...

Just finished the days games.

Loved the saints win over the Seahawks, chiefs look amazing on offence, still a little shaky on D but an amazing team. Ravens looked pretty good too.

My boys, well the D is immense, only one big mistake I thought when we rushed at 3&13 and the screen cut us.

Our offence is still pretty average and I am still not sold on Goff, in fact, I don’t think I rate him at all, he throws some absolute spud options into massive cover, was picked horribly today and on a 3rd and 1 threw an interception when he should have just ran for the one yard.

When he has time he is good but his decision making on the go is very questionable.

3-0 is something as cant complain about tho. Especially when not play8ng great.

The Melbourne Football Club has selected a new coach for the 2026 season appointing Geelong Football Club assistant coach Steven King to the head role.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
