HERE WE COME!!!!!!

I'm gonna disappear overseas more often. We're in the eight.

Oh happy days

the dees are back Bruce played well bate played well Dunn played well these are all the players that people on this site have bean spiting on, as williams would say "you where wrong", but me thinks there will still be bashes this week, if anyone of those people pop up this week please don;t

Well that's just silly. Where the hell did this all come from? I was sure I'd get 8 in the footy tipping this week and my own bloody team goes and ruins it for me!

I wonder if Rhino still thinks we're only performing as expected this season? :D

Jack Trengoves best game yet.

Yeah.. Out of Trenny, Bate and Slyvia for BOG.. Frawls, Jones, Davey, Molly and Russian close behind..

So F*cking proud of the boys right now!!

EDIT: LISTEN TO THAT TEAM SONG!!! HOLY SH!T demon_biggrin.gif

Edited by DemonDan...

Jack Trengoves best game yet.

rising star nomination possibly???

Team song... That was sung with more gusto at the start than any I can remember. Good on em.

As good as I've witnessed this generation play.

All of a sudden we are all smiles. The new recruits love it. We are handing out footys after the game and slapping hands with supporters.. the things successful teams do.. 50 point win... what script are we folowing indeed!!!

Jones- Great

Trengove- Best game yet

Macdonald/Mcdonad- Great game

Sylvia- Strong and becoming increasingly consistant. Maturing. Bloody exciting. Stepping up big time!

Molony- Becoming a pillar of strength and reliability

Scully- Will become a star. So so lucky to get the Tren/Scull combo. We have been blessed people.

Frawley- Say no more. This man is inspiring.

Talking about inspiring, the team song is going.... THE BOYS ARE BLOODY PUMPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And rightly should be!!

All this without Jurrah, Watts, Wonabona etc.... it's almost looking like even if they were firing, it would almost be hard for them to crack in.... what a truely joyous position we are now in!! Everything is smiles, roses, cupcakes and fairy bread down at the MFC for now, and we can almost afford to laugh at the prospect of the kangas next week!!

I almost want to cry!!

brilliant pic

Absolutely fantastic effort by the team......Scully and Trengove superb.....defence amazing.....now let's whip those roos

Geez, you're selling Warnock and Grimes short. EspeciallY Warnock. Kept the Gorillas at bay all night. Greatest win I've seen for a long time.

GO THE F'N DEMONS!

Mate you didn't even watch or listen to the game going by your earlier posts. Just looking at the disposal count at the end of a game doesn't tell you anything. 1st half Bruce's first 5 handballs missed targets resulting in turnovers or stopping our forward thrust. He improved 2nd half but would not say he was anywhere near the best players.

Yes Bate played very well.

Great team effort from the mighty Dees and great footy to watch.

Saints are looking like getting done. Had Ricky taken the Pies mark we'd be in the same amount of wins as the ladder leader!!!

i knew you would pop up leave my mate Bruce alone,

steady on, people...

this is a (very) young team...

bound to be up and down all year...

but let's enjoy the journey to the 8, then the 4, then the granny...

it may not be 2010, but with this group and this coach, it will be...

a year to enjoy already...

I'm not selling anyone short, I mentioned Warnock previously, and as for not going through the whole team, well i'm not a commentator in any capacity, so I have no duty to report on every single player. Feel free to contribute your own input however..

yes Grimes was good. But mentioning this would be boring- Grimes being good is the default. He is a 200 plus gamer after all.. oh wait scratch that, he plays like a 200 gamer.

Look, just step off my grill you jive turkey.

Jesus fella, how about you relax.

Just saying that you didn't mention Grimes or Warnock in your last post. If you feel a little emotional, maybe you should take a chill pill.

Relax guys.........we just won!!!!!!

Celebrate the win.........the whole team was great!!!!!

Go Dees!

I wonder if Rhino still thinks we're only performing as expected this season? :D

We stepped up two notcbes tonight from the side that beat Adelaide and Richmond.

We got a glimpse of the future tonight!

Enjoy it!

I went to the G tonight with trepidation.

How long can a young team hold up... when will the big collapse come.

My 2 kids had a kick on the ground as part of the " I kicked a goal at the G" promotion. not sure who the young bloke running it was but he did a fantastic job.

What a night.

Cracking defence, run carry and real purpose in the forward line

Handpassing to advantage....

Now I'm blind drunk .....but unlike previous years Im happy .....not trying to anaesthetise myself

Was actualy going to attempt a backflip after tonights efforts, got bloody nervous though- decided to eat an ice cream crunchie instead. Exciting times indeed, I am lapping it up!! Go Dees!!

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
