Ha Ha good one.

Yeah its DB has signed for a one year extension till the end of 2011, Cam Schwab told the boys on SEN this morning

perhaps an official apology for the trash served up on the weekend after all the expectation?

Unrealistic expectation

So the players are holding the press conference are they?

hehe well it would be nice if they were in attendance but im happy enough for Bails to do it given he is the one who has "taught" them over the last 2 years.

At some point the players need to be held responsible for there actions, the buck does not stop with coach.

Be interesting to hear Bailey describe the criteria by which he's been deemed successfull i.e. warranting an extension, and by what criteria he'll be judged on from here on in. I've noticed him using number of quarters won, percent for and against as his personal KPIs on the teams progress. Aside from games won what other criteria can he be judged by?

Its a Press Conference. A light fluffy presentation of limited information to fulfil the obligations of the media to report on what haqs already been leaked.

There will be neither in depth guidelines of what has been agreed behind closed doors or any mea culpas (like Tiger Wood's bizarre apology.

Its another staged event.

Funny that, because several of them weren't there over the last 2 years.

Cool

Old school. I always thought Drake made paint for some reason.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
