I just received my membership pack, posted in a plastic resalable wallet (like a pencil case) together with a calendar. it looks pretty good, & each month is represented by a player.

Jan - Moloney

Feb- Jones

Mar - Green

Apr - Morton

May - Grimes

June - McDonald

July - Bate

Aug - Sylvia

Sept - Jurrah

Oct - Bruce

Nov - Davey

Dec - Rivers.

Interesting to note that the leadership group ( McDonald, Davey, Rivers, Moloney, Green, Bruce & Miller) are all represented, except no Miller? <_<

Unless you are an interstate member you have to get them from the MCG rounds 1 to 8.

Enjoy your calendars!!

Who ever approved the calanders needs to be shot. It looks great until you notice that the teams in the background aren't Melbourne, on has the Collingwood/Essendon, another has Sydney players and I think another couple has GF day with Geelong running onto the ground.

Interesting to see a lot of use of the demon logo, they pretty much shoved it everywhere they could.

I hope somebody can confirm that each member who signed up early gets a calendar, and that it is not one per household, or World War 3 is about to break in my house.

I thought the calender would include one of our draftees and the monthly pictures including Morton, Grimes, Bate, Bruce, and Davey have other teams showing in the backgrounds, even Collingwood appears.

Otherwise, a good effort with mem. pack.

Need >12 months in the gym to secure a calendar spot.

Although the likes of Scully Trengove & Tapscott could acquit themselves quite well.

Gysberts, Fitzpatrick & Gawn might need to be air brushed and enhanced.

At least it doesnt include a certain ex-player who wore number 5, unlike the commercially available calendar currently in the shops, which does. Whoops.

I'd love to see the Carlton version!

We got 4 packs (2 adult & 1 kid = family membership and 1 x concession) and we all got a calendar each.

VERY well presented pack.

2010 membership scarf issue is by producing your membership card at the family day or match day stand - just like last year.

All our memberships arrived today except for mine and there were no Calendars.

Did you sign up early to qualify for a calendar?

Not sure, I never get the emails and I didn't read the renewal form so until now I didn't know there was a calendar.

I signed up in November which is a bit later but I was waiting to see if a reserved seat was going to be available. We have 5 seats in a row and then a break of one seat then we have the next seat, we wanted to get our 6 seats in a row. We were waiting to see if he/she renewed which he/she did but has subsequently moved for us we took his seat and now have 7 in a row.

Ours all arrived yesterday and received a calendar for each member so this should be standard. Check with the club. Quality looks good.

BTW was great to see that the Demon is back!!!! the main car sticker is Demons 2010 member!!!! Trust this means the attempted toffiness of emulating Man U with melbournefc as main thrust is finally dispensed with. Now only thing remaining to do is to revert to the true traditional jumper colour which I think will be for start of 2010?

received my pack the other day. Is it just me or is the MFC looking like they are just hitting the right cords on and off the field, player, members, sponsors, etc etc.

I have a good feeling about the coming season. :D

The same type of wraps (in particular publicity) for the club were spruiked about this time last year. I have no doubt that collectively (ie.media Manager, CEO, etc) the Mfc are close to - if not the leaders of the AFL in publicity strategy of late. Of course, it helps when we have such exciting young talent drafted. (ie Watts, Jurrah, Scully, Trengove; jumper exchanges). The new Volvo (increase in sponsorship) deal was well orchestrated in conjunction with revealing the new draftees. Perfect.

Very much like a stretched out season, but without football. :(

The best thing is we're only two months away from some action. Two months ago trade week was already completed. Time flys when you're having fun.

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
