I wonder will both Rivers and Frawley be right to take on the old enemy on Queens birthday long weekend? I wonder what other posters think. It is very important that we beat Col#%#*##** .

According to the articles on the MFC site, Frawley has damaged either his Hip Flexor or his Adductor. In either case, not good for next week. No word on exactly what Rivers has done, so who knows?

here is an interesting fact thats been pointed out to me for a few weeks in a row now.

Every team stkilda has played has won the following week. This week it was the doggies.

Guess who we have before the filth!

Word is Frawley will miss one or two so should be right for QB. No idea on Rivers as yet. I'm hoping he'll only miss the one at worst.

JR's injury didn't really look that bad, maybe miss 1-2 with bad bruising.

I read in an article on melbournefc.com.au that they have to wait for the swelling to die down before they can assess his injury, so that might explain the conflicting reports.

Hopefully the 'tracker' can crank up again, very, very soon. :D

It's Rivers, so I expect him to be out until Round 4-5, 2010.

The hun is saying he will miss a large portion of the season. Although i'm not sure what they are basing this on!

They'll say anything to sell a few papers...

Does anyone know if the leg/ankle Riv injured was the same one he did in the intra-club match in the preseason?

Based on the way the Pois played last night we won't need them anyway.

They certainly got smashed last night!

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
