MOst likely BS but would prefer him to play like cousins on the field.

That does'nt really surprise me! Maybe we can trade him to Hawthorn so he can party with the boys down there!

One of them said he could play two games in a row he felt that good. Nobody can keep up with him! So he reckons. We will all know whats happens if he drops ..... on the field!

It does'nt seem to work for Sylvia.

There is no doubt Colin has been a disappointment in the past . I have been prepared to excuse him on the basis that he has had major injury and fitness worries. He has not been strong in 'the core' which would have made it very difficult to play four quarters of footy. Up until this year, he has never had a proper pre-season. Perhaps our mistake was in recruiting a kid who had OP at 17...but that's not his fault

The saving grace on the latest issue is that he wasn'y drinking - so I'm going to get off his back one more time and judge on the field after his first full pre-season .

He has ability - and I recall Daniher saying that he is very competitive.

Let's just see how plays in the next month

Hoopla -Colin has no tank, he has no football smarts and lacks heart. He would be an excellent VFL/SANFL player but he doesn't have the goods to deliver at AFL level. Colin should be aloud to go out late at night as he'd end up falling asleep at a reasonable hour anyway no matter where he was out at. Judd and Luke Ball can play at a level with OP type issues, Colin will always have whatever lingers with his OP so get over it.

Classic misunderstanding of the debilitating condition that is OP. Nice.

It is nice, face the facts with Colin you get his lingering OP, if he had any football smarts and real steel mentally maybe he could play. Why continue to back him when he's not going to overcome this. There are too many if only's with him -maybe he should go see the Wizard of Oz for a brain, a heart and some courage.

Keep on talking. Eventually you might say something worthwhile.

interesting that he has not been named in the squad at all for sunday. I wonder where he will be at in 7 days time. Wonna to come back in, watts maybe soon, maric, jetta looking good, petterd looking good, robbo getting closer? Whilst it isn't the best forward line on paper we are starting to have some real competition for place which can only be a good thing. I just wonder where CS fits into the bigger and long term picture?

Bailey said that if Sylvia trained hard enough he'd play, so if Bails is true to his word Sylvia is either injured or he didn't train hard enough. If it's the latter then his future must be in serious doubt, if he can't get himself together after his type of incentive from his coach then I doubt he ever will.

It's a shame because I believed he'd be able to finally prove himself

I think your right on the money Jarka, the only thing that crossed my mind was that he was being taught a lesson this week regardless. So if in 7 days he is in the same position his future has to be questioned and it may be a long road back for him.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
