Fwiw Garland was used up forward on the odd occassion - Richmond (at TD?) comes to mind.

Martin forward for mine. Garland's run and leadership in defence was the year's lone highlight.

With Martin's size he could really throw his weight around in the forward line, leaving Miller to lead up.

I think Garland's probably the more football talented, and thus more likely to make it up forward than Martin.

I've said this before, and in a few emails to the club, I don't see why we can't use qualified volunteers to respond to emails (then have them checked by an overseer or someone like that) and then sent out.

I definitely see merit in utilising our fan base as voluntary workers so staff can focus on important tasks. However, what can the volunteer say about the idea if you're looking at feedback from people at the Club?

Either the volunteer just writes whatever they feel is appropriate and you're getting the views of the volunteer or they ask the relevant staffer about the idea, in which case the staffer may as well write the email themselves (assuming they're not two-finger typists).

It was started this year twist. I'm of the same opinion I had then. I would keep Martin down back and utilise Garland up forward - which has been tried before, albeit briefly. As Rogue pointed out against Richmond at TD.
