Who kicked 8 goals tonight?

[a] Lance Franklin

Collingwood

[c] All of the above.

Lock in [c] please ... Eddie.

[lifted from bigfooty but I like it anyway]

when is franklin contracted to?

 We can only wish. The Hawks side is as awesome as Geelong. They're midfielders Hodge, Mitchell, Sewell, Lewis, and now Ellis who is fast becoming elite, would rank equal to Geelongs Ablett, Bartel, Corey, Kelly and Selwood.

There is no way Franklin will leave that bunch.

it's a shame players don't play for the club they supported as a kid... Juddy hitting Buddy lace out would be lovely to watch...

You could add Pendelbury to that list as well Vanlo.

But back to reality we have had, "Heffernan kicks out of bounds and hits Moloney on the bench with another injury."

Condemned, don't forget "and Rivers, already missing with a groin related lung, hamstring and back injury, whilst buying a pie in the outer falls over and ruptures both knees, requiring two knee reconstructions."

Hate Buddy, but far out what a player. Mind you, his defensive work is shocking. If i was coach i'd try and put a very attacking player on him to work both ways.

Problem with that is their midfield is so good they turn it over so many times.

Oh, there was a football game last night?

I thought we were watching a new reality show, with footage of Mick Malthouse in the big brother coaching box looking straight out, interspersed with some short clips of game footage. I'm sure i heard him mentioned more often than some players on the field, and i only heard Clarkson mentioned two or three times, what's with the obsession? It can't just be because Dennis loves the sound of his own voice saying "Michael Malthouse"...

Every time I see Sewell I regret us not "FORCING" Ferguson to agree to the swap.

If we were truly ruthless we could have told him he would play the next year at Sandy and his career would end.

Maybe at Hawthorn he would have resurrected his career and we would have had Sewell in our mid field.

The more I see Franklin dominating a game like that playing as a KPP, the more I like the idea of Jack Watts in the draft.

Same. I was discussing the draft with a bloke at a party last night, saying about how he'd kill himself if we didn't take Watts in the draft. Yeah, he was a little drunk. Watts would have to be the most logical decision.

First thing I think of everytime I see him play. If only things went through as planned, he has come a long way as a footballer.

LOL. Nothing pleases me more than to see the filth get rolled!! Buddy almost kicking Colling%#$&'s score tops it off. You should hear their supporters rant about how good O'Brien and Brown are - well they got licked last night!!

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
