Funny isn't it?

More and more I read demonland and have to sift through the opinionated garbage from guys like Y_M (who I DO sometimes find entertaining at least), the more I find I don't have the time and inclination to read...

I never thought I'd see the day that demonology is actually coming into it's own during this crisis. If you want to open your mind and think outside the box it seems there is at least SOME people who have the right perspective during a crappy season.

I didn't find the coaches report particularly interesting or enlightening.

What did you find noteworthy?

PS. If you're talking about an article or whatever, I'd say it's a good idea to link to the relevant page - even by just cutting and pasting the URL into your message.

Anyone know how to join Demonology? the sign-up links don't work.

Almost all forums have 'important' threads 'stickied' at the top of the board. Check the 'if you want to join Demonology' sticky thread if you want to join Demonology :)

WOW!!!!

Great effort!!

You have prove Demonland EXPERTS are EXPERT at using a computer.

Well Done!

I would think most people would find the coaches report interesting at the least.

Some supporters PAY to get that report weekly.

Other respectable performances included Dunn’s first half on Hayes, and Bartram’s second half on Montagna. Cameron Bruce (21 possessions, six clearances, one goal) and James McDonald (25 possessions, six tackles, four clearances) were other players who were solid.

yeah, no worries Dean.

Keep smoking the good stuff.

I agree that some would find the coaches report interesting. I was interested when I saw the thread title, but not so much when I read it. As I said, what did you find interesting/enlightening?

Btw, I'm not sure making a suggestion re: linking to an article you made a thread to talk about, and giving you some advice on how to do so, warrants a sarcastic jibe.

Not sure if this has been made clear or not. But it is possible to read and write on both sites - they are not mutually exclusive.

Both sites are excellent and we are lucky to have them

Indeed. I find it odd that realist takes a jab at me by labelling me as a member of Demonland. Fwiw, I read and post on both regularly (and joined Demonology first).

I am talking about the web site: http://demonology.midnight.net.au/

The threads you talk about are not there.

Sure it is - I've attached some pics to explain it. One shows the thread itself, the other shows the thread title/link highlighted on the Demonology forum page. I hope these help:

Read the report. Compare to the vast majority of posters' opinions to what was written there and you notice how often people on this site are completely off the mark.

Simple.

The report said that Bruces performace was respectable.

I feel sorry for you that you so easily lapped it up, hanging on every word.

I'm confused also, Dalrot. This sure is a weird thread.

I read the post by Captain Obvious on Demonology yesterday. At first, I thought it was a "mock" report constructed by the thread-originator but then realised it was actually Bailey's report.

I then wondered why he framed it as "angry". Seemed like the same old cliches bandied about in coaches' analysis these days. No anger at all - was rather insipid to me.

So how then is this a reflection on the mindset of Demonology posters as opposed to Demonland ones?

Anyway, its back to sniping now so all is good!!!!

No problems, Mono.

I agree.

PS. Y_M is a far better troll than realist.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
