This kid looked alright in the practice matches, and is doing ok for Sandy 2's. Think we should get him on the list next season, could be the tall forward we need.

Unfortunately his leg speed doesn't match with the name

for an AFL player to be only doing "ok" in VFL 2s probably isn't a great start

If he's only playing Sandy 2's at the end of this season, we'd probably just want to keep him on the rookie list.

I guess we'll drop him and he'll go play for Montrose then.

He is definitely worth the risk, one of the goals I saw him kick for Casey last year was absolutely off the hook. One goal in one game, I know, it's pretty rich, but the way he moved for a big guy was incredible and the commentators seemed to mess themselves over it also.

I predicted during the practice games that he would be a big improver this year. I was wrong.

Early prediction:

Newton and Meeson to get delisted and then redrafted as rookies.

You have posted this on a couple of threads. Methinks you might know something.

PS. It makes sense to me as it would give us 6 picks in the ND and PSD 1.

Meesen is the last choice of our ruckmen and is still injured. Newton will struggle even more if we take Thorp, Watts comes on and we draft a couple of KPP's.

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
