Also why is Tenace still with us surely he would know that there almost exists no possibilty of us picking him up? Unless he rates our training program?

Anyone else think that we may make a move for Dylan Grimes at the end of next season during trade week? I would think we have a few players on the chopping block if they don't deliver and Grimes Version 2.0 might be a handy addition?

Doubt any change will occur I would imagine it was just what jumpers fit, and guessing e.g. Fitzy and Warnock have the same size jumper. Can't wait till NAB CUP to see these guys in action!!!

I would prefer to take a Grimes type at this pick or Max Gawn personally. I was merely using your post as an example not taking a shot at yourself. I agree that Shifters version of a 30 players may almost certainly not coincide with recruiters, yet you could probably say that the majority would fit there. Outside of these 20 ish players is when a recruiter really earns their money or loses their bundle. Recruiting has certainly come along way since the 90's.

So much hype this time of year, makes people think so much higher of players that they have not seen and know minimal about. Forums such as this one are notorious for for adding value to player then people get disapointed that they slid or did not go as high as they had hyped them up to. Temel was rated an outside chance to be drafted prior to the late season form and now has done fantastic to get to 3rd round material. He showed that when he works hard he has the ability , though whether this was ability against boys or out and out ability it is yet to be known. I think that with a couple of preseasons he could be a very handy 2nd forward type , though it all depends on how much he wants it.

I am pro Dylan Grimes. While some may say he got attention due to his brother I would say his performances spoke for themselves (not that i saw any in whole, but checked the bests and Future Stars). Another argument against him is that there exists too many of his type on the list, though I dont see anything wrong with competition. Tall (190cm+) Backmen: -Warnock -Rivers -Frawley -Martin -Garland -McNamara Though potentially these players can be more versatile, depth will be good as the general consensus is that KP players take longer to develop. I still have nightmares about losing everyone at the end of 2003, Ellis(knee), Nicholson(knee) ect ect..

I would like to see the addition of someone with his size and skills, though with the issues mentioned someone like a Mitch Duncan may be a better option. Though these types of issues should not derail a person too much, we all make mistakes and we must learn. Perhaps he had negative influences in the NT and as such played up, so perhaps a move would do him good.

I can vouch for him being a good bloke. Fantastic news that he is back and moving, hopefully his athleticism remains because last time i saw him he seemed like he had stacked on a nice amount of muscle.

Key problem with the rookie draft though is that GC17 has the first 5 picks. So gettting a Thorp or Patrick, might be a little tricky.
