  1. Past hour
  2. The AFL will come up with same BS propaganda for the Golden Boy. St.Kilda player already in a falling motion, Low impact , accidental football action .... Here's a fine play on.
  3. Kozzieland in the Alice, let's unleash the Demon within. Carn you Dees! 💯❤️💙🫶🏆🥇🎯🎟🧿💰
  4. Today
  5. Oh an epidemic now. This is why I don't read or watch footy media anymore.
  6. We just have to wish him the best and get on with the job. Its what he'd want.
  7. Interesting quote in among that; "(Libby, a physio in training) Birch suspects this year’s round zero might have played into this landscape, not because it made the season one week longer for some clubs, but because they would have geared a block of training to an earlier-than-usual bye in the season proper." Anyways, I'm anti-rotation cap. I don't get the concept (on multiple levels) of fatiguing players to improve the spectacle. Why would any sport want to lessen the performance of its players, and run the risk of the league becoming more ANB and less Petracca? And there has been a clear decrease in scoring since each cap was introduced. Subjective, but I think football was at its height in the era of massive rotations preceding the first cap (during which we were [censored] and probably otherwise distracted), which was introduced due to concerns over increased injuries, and not congestion. And now we have another spike in injuries? Plus congestion is as bad as ever. Also speculation, but if I was a tired mid I would jump on the ball and tie it up rather than attempting to burst from a stoppage. Less likely I have receivers running past as well. But doing so reduces goal-scoring and opportunities for a moment of rest in between, and also increases contact and the potential of injury.
  8. Well I guess you mean (them) the Caulfield Trust, who would possibly be our landlord. There is no money that I can see, not a cent. The MFC proposal will go before a struggling State Government in the 2025 budget. If the works did receive the go ahead in 2025, would take years to put a shovel into the ground, especially if the issue does finish before the courts, appeals and Vcat etc.
  9. It's Game Day and the Demons and the Dockers meet on halfway on neutral territory in the heart of the country in Alice Springs and the Dees need to win to hold onto a place in the Top 4.
  10. Goodwin went hard straight after the game in the press conference
  11. I don’t see any Demon doing anything to Maynard. We won’t want suspensions and nothing less than a suspension worthy act is worth doing anyway. Pushing and shoving is meaningless and just wastes energy and is distracting from the game. The best thing we can do is win by a landslide and then a marking attempt which accidentally knocks Maynard out is the best quinella.
  12. Yes a tenant, a reliable long-term tenant which carries its own value for them.
  13. An absolute genuine 50/50 game. They’re only a half game and 5% behind us and have beaten us 3 out of the last 5 games. Freo have definitely caused us problems under Longmuir. Will be a statement win IMO if we can get it done, with opportunities to come between rounds 13-17.
  14. Trac would need to be unbelievable in the back half of the year. Windsor could be in with a shout if he freshens up after the break.👍
  15. MRC couldn’t care less, they will be just another tenant. The MFC has been negotiating with the Save Caulfield racetrack group. Attached are some minutes from the last failed meeting. mfc meeting notes.docx
  16. The thought of 50,000 morons standing in unison in support of Maynard after his 15-20 usages of the pill is almost enough to boycott this game..almost.
  17. Pretty happy with that result, short of Richmond winning. I thought Geelong would go ahead us on percentage with a 12 goal + win, but Richmond put up a good fight. And let’s face it, are Geelong seriously going 2-0 against Sydney and Carlton both away. Third place is ours if we’re good enough tomorrow.
  18. I’ve been accused of blind devotion to our Club but this is one instance where I believe the MFC failed. We took it lying down, so to speak. But that’s probably because any attempt to effect justice would have been futile and the Club knows this. Why waste time/money/resources on something that’s doomed before it even begins?
  19. Agree. Will not be surprised if he gets off with a fine. After all afl protect their stars
  20. You’re joking right Maynard hit on gus the afl could literally conjure hitler out of a guilty verdict yep I went there
  21. WHERE WAS OUR CLUB?!! WHY DIDNT PERT BEELINE TO THE ASSEMBLED MEDIA AND SCREAM: WE EXPECT 12 WEEKS THIS IS NOT A FOOTBALL ACTION our absolute emasculation is why I haven’t paid my membership ($500) this year and probably won’t for a long time [censored] [censored]
