i think people are underating Reilly here he had a few monster games over 30 touches this year and is very skilfull.... but yeh key defenders don't grow on trees so you'd have tor refuse... but pick 10 and reilly from the crows isnt exactly an insulting offer either.... hoping we get pick 14 for trav, keep Cj, get Meeson with a 4th rounder... that is probably all that will happen with us

We should seriously look at this guy.... a defender who would DEFINATELY be in our best 22... everytime i saw him he looked great for the eagles, good pace and a great kick.... his name keeps getting put around... id package Tj in if the Eagles were keen and even a late 4th round pick as a sweetener.... but yeh if that Miller/Johnstone/21 for Rischitelli and 14 can be done as yzemagic says i would do that!!!

I'll stick up for daniel harris the guy is a gun and would be getting the plaudits he deserves if in a more high profile side, his clearance work is 2nd to none right up there with mitchell and kerr....

all thesr reports on bigfooty about how bad cale mortons attitude is and same with his brother etc dont know if any of it is true....? apparantly the eagles won't touch morton... if so youd think theyd take the next best local being palmer leaves us with a decision between morton, vance henderson maybe??

yeh excitement wise id still rather the frawley trade instead of the petterd or TJ one... but we will be spewing if Frawley ends up a gun key back and we trade him while TJ keeps underperforming even with Judd.... i love Tj i have always stuck up for him and believe he has shown much more leadership as of late..... really hope we can keep him!!! agree that bruce and green id trade before TJ, especially Bruce, the guy is way overrated cant even kick properly since about 2004??? TJ AND JUDD MMMMMM but yeh not looking good:(

lets get amon buchanen!! heard he wasnt happy at the swans he would be a great player to throw in WE give them Johnstone and Miller for pick 11 We get pick 11 and Buchanen So Miller for Buchanen Pick 11 for Johnstone maybe need to throw in a pick or another fringe for buchanen but i reckon he is a great player........ i don't want that sook Jolly back he had one good year i don't rate him, would rather a younger and enthusiastic Meeson... how old is Jolly anyway.... id prefer this trade as we lose Tj who is class but hold onto a young gun defender in Frawley and also Petterd..... i could bear losing Pick 4, 11 (tj) 21 and Miller for Judd and whoever Sydney will give us.... its better than losing 4, 9 (frawley) and 21 i think, this way we keep our young core and lose two of our most up and down players in TJ and Miller..... whilst possible snaring a disgruntled swan who may be good value!

id hate to lose petterd the guy has so much poise and class about him, then again Frawley is a KPP.... but if we had to choose id trade Frawley remember this is bringing us Judd some hard calls have to be made but yeh i have that kind of emotional attachment to Petterd and we need pace in our side and hardness, Ricky brings both these!

I will be happy giving up pick 4 21 and 9 who we seem to be getting from the saints in exchange for Frawley if the rumours are correct.... also with Robbo probably going to the dogs for their 2nd round pick.... It leaves us with huge huge holes in the key position posts and ruck, down back we will only be left with Rivers, Carroll and Ferguson (not in our top 22), down forward the only key position players are Neitz, Newton and Miller (on fringe of 22)... Also the ruck situation is a huge problem but there is no way we can fill all these holes in the next year or two unfortunately if we are trading away most of our picks this year.... If we are getting Judd we are obviously intent on winning a flag in the next 6 years while we still have the core of Bruce, Green, Johnstone, White together..... I worry about or backline minus frawley it leaves us with only Rivers and Carroll as key talls, i aint including Ferguson as we need better to win a flag... i think down forward can be fixed even without robbo....... My solution to the forward line problem is reinvent green as the leading forward pocket player and get davey back in the forward line permanently but maybe at the 50 m line to shark Bate and Miller.. play Miller and Bate as permanent CHF'S leading types all year with davey and green as the small forwards..... with judd in the middle it can allow us to try this... F: Newton, Neitz, Green/Reinvented Yze HF: Bate, Miler, Davey but the backline is the worry in terms of key quality talls, heres hoping wheels can come back fit and firing though as our small backs look good... B: Whelan, Carroll, Bell HB: Petterd, Rivers, Wheatley/Pick 20 from dogs tall key back that lineup looks good on paper but is definately one tall short no doubt especially bare it becomes if Rivers goes down.... The midfield lineup has a great look very positive: Judd, Mclean, Jones, Mcdonald, Bruce, Slyvia, Johnstone Dunn and a fit Moloney and Bartram... thats 10 quality players with a mix of pace, hardness and skill!! but yeh we need to stick to a key forward setup for the year and let Miller settle in if he is given a shot, not be in and out of the team, i still think Miller can offer us a good hit up target if given confidence that its his spot to hold for the year... davey back up forward is a must as our forward pressure was no existant this year... All in all my verdict is we have great depth in the middle if we can remain relatively injury free, our forward line can be fixed by slotting davey and green down there as permanents..... while the backline no doubt needs one more young key tall hopefully we can find a gem in the draft..... but no doubt we need to address another key back and a ruckman replacement for White soon or gaping holes will appear with a few injuries.... while they may fall short of the 8 this year, get on the Lions for top 8 as soon as the odds come out next year, as long as Brown stays on the park they are certanties.... you will get generous odds probably a touch over $2.... get on it.... Jed Adcock must be pushing for All Australian Selection... love his game style.... a gun maybe most improved in the AFL.. and have a nibble on Simon Black to run a place in the brownlow this year, i think he will still beat Brent Harvey, Chad Cornes who are a tad shorter than him, odds will probably be slashed though.... definately going to back him start of next year, the guy is my just phenomenal my favourite non dee along with Daniel Kerr.

ND isn't it so obvious he plays his best footy Crumbing off Robbo/Neitz.... like 2004 and 2005.... get him out of the midfield/half back and give Pettard a full game and get Davey back to where he can have an impact... in the forward 50... we are so terrible when the ball hits the ground at the moment, probably the worst/slowest chasers out of the forward 50, who out of Bate/Sylvia/Robbo/Neitz has genuine speed to force errors.... maybe only Sylvia at times... common sense, get Davey forward.

Brown over CJ what a joke... Yze Magic can you honestly tell me Brown is of more worth to the side... at least CJ can kick the ball properly not these pissy little under 10 chip kicks brown does..... sure he was great a few years ago but move on ND develop our team for 2008!!! this is appaling... you can tell CJ will be a player but if he keeps getting dropped... he will end up like Jolly and Armstrong... playing great footy elsewhere.... CJ is a winger and should be played there all game give him time to recapture preseason form... constantly on and off bench in and out of team..... Does Danners have a clue how to develop young players??? Ward is better than Brown as he runs harder and can at least kick it 50-60 m unlike Brown... sure he is turnover prone but id rather kick it 55 m to a turnover than 30 metres to a 50/50 contest like Brown does....

this is a disgrace how Nathan Brown continues to get a game and makes the 18!! the guy is a total liability down back he can't kick with any penetration slows the ball up etc... Cj was much better than Brown last week and showed some good signs... hes clean by foot at least... so angry, give him some games in a row!
