Me too, Langdon got crunched, then the Pies were physical with us at every opportunity.
-
Carlton also have a tough run home.
-
I’m not getting carried away with this result. Freo have been up for a while, as were we. I do hope the Giants can roll the Pies though, another team that’s been riding high of late.
-
Collingwood often gets criticised for how many games it plays at the G each year, but clubs continually request to play them there because of the crowd they bring.
-
I’ve gone Carlton Cats Swans Crows GWS Port No real justification for any of these results, just a gut feel. If anything I think teams are finding out that being switched on every game is more difficult than it sounds. I tipped the Eagles last night which has paid off.
-
Surely not.
-
To avoid any confusion I’m only watching because of my multi’s….
-
Surely Eagles can’t lose this now.
-
Having Petty and Lever both playing allows Lever to do what he does best. Our defence is the best in the league and it’s a major part in why we should finish top 4.

Before the game 1st Lion 40 points, 134.2% 2nd Dees 40 points, 134.0% After the game 1st Dees 44 points, 139.2% 2nd Freo 40 points, 128.5% 3rd Lions 40 points, 124.9%

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
Bombay Airconditioning replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
I’ve arrived in Old Melbourne Town, can’t wait for tonight. Our defence is still rated no.1 even after the last 3 weeks, May couldn’t be back at a better time as the Lions are the no.1 scoring side in the comp. I want to see us open the fwd line right up, Brown to play the TMac role and push up the ground and Fritsch out of the square. Plenty of magic from Kosi and Bedford. Petracca to start nailing his opportunities. Tonight is massive, give em hell. -
Fritsch one out in the goal square with Kosi and Bedford charging in for the drop of the ball should Fritsch not mark it.

This reminds me of when Buddy Franklin went to the Giants….
-
Agree but first round picks in the late teens aren’t going to get it done either.
-
I’m not sure if his contract status but if he wants out….
-
What would we be realistically be offering Jackson compared to what Brayshaw would be on?
-
Let’s get it done.
-
And who is that?

💯, as we know we’ve lost 3 in a row at home, we’re tied for points with the Lions, this is a must win. Get the job done on Thursday, we should be able to account for the Crows and then reset and go again. Lions have the Bulldogs the week after (and they trouble them) so all going well we could be potentially 2 games clear of them. But we must bring the heat this Thursday night. I’m flying down Thursday morning and I can’t bloody wait. Carn the Dees

The last three games we’ve been hit with injuries/suspension, teams are moving the ball quickly and isolating our defenders. Let’s get the band back together and get some stability back. It starts this week!
-
This weeks game against the Lions is so important. We simply must win, the following week we have Adelaide at AAMI. Other games this week include Dogs v Hawks Blues v Freo Cats v Tigers Swans v Saints Port v Suns The deeper into the season we go the more it becomes a mental game and mini finals occur.

Peter Wright went for a 4th round pick.

So let’s say he goes, what’s our best scenario as a club, a third club could be part of any deal.
