  1. Our inside 50 entries are up there with our midfields effort.
  2. We’re making Brisbane look like all stars
  3. Goody spoke of that during the week.
  4. May out confirmed. As per channel 7 news Melbourne.
  5. I don’t think that suits them or works for them, hopefully they try, if we get away early we’ll then get into their heads.
  6. Well I got that one wrong. Footy is a funny game….
  7. Losing to Geelong isn’t a choke, it’s how they lose. If Curnow or McKay didn’t mark it, the ball came flying back out, and when McKay did mark it he struggled in front of goals. Why do key fwds continue to try and kick around their body.
  8. Suns normally start the season well, Sydney would have been a tough task for anyone. I rate their midfield higher than Essendon’s. Chol and Casboult aren’t start but paired well together last season. Suns won 10 games last year, Bombers 7 with Peter Wright. I think Suns are great value.
  9. CATS DEES PIES CROWS DOGS FREO SWANS SUNS EAGLES
  10. I’ve gone eagles for those reasons. 2 of their best runners out.
  11. Well yes, but I’d also imagined they’d be fired up yesterday after last years preliminary embarrassment. Lions defenders have always been a liability over the past few years, their fwds have annihilated weaker teams but often struggled against top 4 sides, but their midfield has always been solid. Yesterday they were carved up the middle largely by a couple of kids.
  12. Absolute brain fade from Kosi. Stupid.
  13. On Collingwood, the funny is people say about last nights game “they’ll have trouble playing like that every week”, well they don’t have too. They only have to play like that against 4/5 sides. The rest of the time they can afford to play 1/2 as good and beat most sides or just play like that in patches when required.
  14. Before Thursday nights game I though only 4/5 clubs could win it, after that game it was confirmed.
  15. Here’s a thought Crows Pies Dogs Swans Dees That’s Tigers next 5. They could be 0 & 6.
  16. Throw in Zac Williams as well.
  17. Honestly I had the tigers making the 8 and they might, Carlton for me finish 9-10 depending on port. What a [censored] show last night was. People can argue it’s only rd 1, but for Carlton who we’ve been told “are coming” since 2009 that was garbage. For me the only highlights of the game were the Bolton mark, 2 goals from Lynch (one from the pocket and one to level it) and the Curnow goal from the pocket. I’m going to find out what they paid for hopper because GWS would be laughing. Taranto gets a lot of it but can’t kick. Based on that only a 4/5 teams are in the hunt this year. Jack and Dusty are past it. Dynasty well and truly over. Teams want to get of to a good start, there will be games this week when a team will lose but they would have played a brand of footy where people will say “they’re going to be hard to beat this season”. You’d be [censored] if your club loses to either of those two teams last night. The game must now go to someone else, if not last years GF, then the 2 teams that lost the preliminary, so last night would be Pies v Lions. Another example why 19 teams won’t work.
  18. You win on technicality.
  19. A draw doesn’t suddenly make this a good game.
  20. If that Taranto kick was called deliberate we may as well call the season off.
  21. The hype is because of Taranto and Hopper, time will tell if it’s warranted. I personally don’t think so and in many ways this season is their last roll of the dice for Martin, Cotchin & Riewoldt. I’ve tipped the tigers on the back of they know how to win and Carlton is overrated and Walsh isn’t playing. I have tigers playing finals but that’s about it.
  22. Tigers, Pies, North, Lions, Dees, Swans, GWS, Bombers, Freo
  23. All of the focus is on the four players who will miss for us and the bulldogs talls. What about who is is playing, still a lot of star power out there. Combined with our ethos I’m confident of a comfortable win.
