  1. If he doesn’t win it, I suppose you will come on here and say “ I told you so, how right can one be”. You need to lighten up a tad.
  2. Wobbles big time. West Coast pressure immense.
  3. West Coast blowing some easy chances, Howe is no good one on one.
  4. They are saying knee for Nic Nat, doesn’t look good.
  5. Not a bad game at the moment. Nic Nat down in the rooms limping badly with some sort of leg issue. Lycett holding his own though against Brodie.
  6. Is Mckenna playing? A training reported stated he left training early on Wednesday due to hamstring soreness.
  7. Has a team at 4-12 ever had a percentage of just under 92%? We need to keep winning obviously but Brisbane might do some damage to teams hovering just above/ below us on the run home with the form they’re in. Crows, Cats, North, Pies and WCE still to play the Lions.
  8. The kick to spot ANB for a set shot early in the third was pure footy smarts. Most other players attempting that kick would’ve had their kick smothered. He deliberately kept the ball low avoiding two sets of Bulldog arms. Watching the replay last night I wasn’t surprised the commentators didn’t pick up on it.
  9. In the second half I noticed he spent a lot of time on the wing running with Honeychurch. Not sure if that was a defensive move by Goody but it looked like it.
  10. Quality defending Giants from the kick-in.?‍♂️
  11. I posted in the post match thread and I’m assuming you quoted me there...so how does your reply end up on the Viney thread? Am I seeing things mono?
  12. Have we got a nickname for Spargo yet? Brilliant third quarter, strong tackles, nice running goal. There was some very good understanding between him and Garlett throughout the game around our forward 50.
  13. 6. Gawn 5. Brayshaw 4. Oliver 3. Hogan 2. Spargo - Loved his 3rd quarter. 1. Melksham
  14. 14-4 clearances Dogs way. We really took notice of the first time we played them.
  15. Glad we don’t play Brisbane again.
  16. TIO Stadium is only 3m narrower than the G. Interestingly we have done well on grounds as wide as the G this year albeit against weaker opposition. Ground Length Width Adelaide Oval 167m 123m MCG 161m 138m Etihad Stadium 160m 129m GMHBA Stadium 170m 116m UTAS Stadium 175m 145m Blundstone Arena 160m 124m UNSW Canberra Oval 162.5m 138m SCG 155m 136m Metricon Stadium 158m 134m The Gabba 156m 138m Cazaly's Stadium 165m 135m TIO Stadium 175m 135m TIO Traeger Park 168m 132m Spotless Stadium 164m 128m Optus Stadium 165m 130m Jiangwan Stadium 160m 136m MARS Stadium 160m 129m
  17. I can’t remember JKH having much of an impact in any of his games to date. Hopefully the boys get around him and involve him as much possible to boost his confidence and make him feel he belongs. This as close to a best 22 for us out there and one of the best teams he will play in for the Dees. All the best young man.
  18. Charlie Spargo to earn his first NAB Rising star nomination. Will easily outdo Caleb Daniel and Razor Ray today.
  19. Received a tip. Caulfield R8 No4 Lord Sundowner $19 & $5 Horse was bolting last start and was held up. Jock stopped riding as he had nowhere to go. Let’s hope the same doesn’t occur as he’s drawn barrier 3 and likes to settle near the lead. I’ll pop a few each way, in case of the you know.......“PL syndrome”.
  20. Well done Nibbler. 50th game. Has anyone ran further in their first 50 games? The club also acknowledges two more milestones. 1000 disposals for Trac ( needs two more) 1000 disposals for Jesse (needs five more) Beautiful winter’s day. Go Dees!
  21. Carlton mate showed me a stat this morning. Marchbank: Metres gained - Minus 13. Is that even possible for a full game?
