Farewell Jesse Hogan
Pssst....trade deadline is at 8:30pm on the 17th.

Andrew Gaff
5th in their B&F last night. According to some of his teammates, they’re none the wiser (bollocks) after giving nothing away on the speculation.

Farewell Dean Kent
Ha Ha. Not sure about the stamina part, was hoping to see a few pages added on the Hogan thread rather than hanging out post by post. I searched far and wide and didn’t even think to look at his draft number. Some of those numbers do match his career kicks tally against certain clubs. Long Bow I think.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Maybe he should have his own thread titled Manurerisms.

Farewell Dean Kent
One hour spent on this, I think that’s enough. Good one Skuit, does this actually have anything to do with Kent? My guess is 20.

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
I read the Swans delisted Dean Towers. Is he worth a look as a replacement for someone like a Pedersen? Mainly used as a utility at Sydney and will be 29 next year.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Ignore them, how else would they try and give away Bertocchis?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
This was mentioned last night by Tom Morris ‘On The Couch’. I’m not sure what his track record is like but he believes the Neale trade will start an 8 way mega trade. I can’t remember the specifics, all I remember is him stating we will get their first pick and a player back which he didn’t name.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I thought Jesse would play a major part for us striving to gain the ultimate success in the years to come. I never once entertained the thought of the club trading him, but as we all know favourites leave from time to time for one reason or another. This would have been a major blow a few years ago but knowing we have some serious talent on the list and an opportunity to add some more eases the pain to a degree. To say I’m not upset about it though would be a lie.

Andrew Gaff
Imagine the melts on the North boards if we manage to pinch Gaff off them last minute. Let it happen.

He also reported North is making a last ditch attempt at Lynch. Even if his reports are BS, amusement nonetheless.

A Day at the Races
Ha ha, even is a very good result Macca. I finished a little in front, banking it for next week. The Caulfield track is known to be tricky especially if there’s a bit of wind about. The wind didn’t seem an issue though. Maybe it’s one those ‘forget’ runs from Grunt. It will be interesting to see what they do from here. It’s in the markets for the Caulfield Cup as well. Maybe there’s a race they will target as a lead up to the Cox on Guineas day.

A Day at the Races
I thought it was a very strong win by Homesman. You could see the jock on Grunt working on the horse before the home turn. I need to watch the replay to see if Grunt did a bit of work early to get to the front. The Spring is well and truly kicking off Macca, it will only get better from here.

A Day at the Races
It was looming as the winner at one stage Macca. Currently looking into the next and I notice there’s a ‘Wagner’ running. Anything stick out to you?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Is this correct? I was told it was May’s management that initiated the discussions. Either way, I wasn’t sold on May initially but there are some strong arguments on here about what he could add to the team and how it will benefit.

A Day at the Races
Or we could just stick with Weir ?

A Day at the Races
Well done Macca, early wins set up the day. A bit more freedom with the strategy for the rest of the day, for me anyway. Weir has a couple of horses in the next, very tough race to find a standout. Miss Leonidas is an above average mare, i like Egyptian Bullet at odds and In Good Time is unbeaten after 6 starts albeit in weaker grade. Soothing and Grey Shadow...aaargh too hard this one.

A Day at the Races
Strong win in the end by Cliff’s Edge. It’s shaping as a good day for racing. Got off to a good start with Eclair Calling in the 1st, managed to find $8 with ‘Fat Odds’. Prized Icon in the 3rd endured a tough run being stuck out 3 wide the trip and tired expectedly. Weir with a double already.

A Day at the Races
What a finish to the day. Pies get pipped and Mr Hamilton salutes in the last at Morphetville. In front for the day now. Tomorrow should produce some good racing as well.
