  1. Ignore them, how else would they try and give away Bertocchis?
  2. NFL

Titans, Ravens , Rams. Da Bears are going alright!
  3. Pick 75 for Colyer?
  4. Has only managed a full season once in his 8 seasons with 22 games played in 2017 and hasn’t played more than 12 in the other 7. I’m not sure he would offer more than what we already have. I’d rather put some more development into Hunt and Stretch as ‘Line Breakers’ as they have age on their side.
  5. Tom Browne tweeting a major development. He thinks Collingwood will announce they have retained Moore and Langdon which means May won’t be going there.

Is it usual for all AFL clubs to interview the top draft prospects? Sam Walsh is the favourite to go at No.1, he was interviewed earlier today on SEN and was asked if any clubs had spoken to him. He mentioned he has spoken to a few that finished on the bottom but also mentioned GWS has met with him. I found that interesting as GWS have pick 13 and had a thought that maybe they will look to trade someone like a Shiel to obtain pick 1.
  7. I’ve gone a ‘Lotto’ range multi Macca for the 8 games in the morning. All 8 games to go over 2.5 goals, throwing a Hail Mary. A buck gets you around $54 back.
  8. This was mentioned last night by Tom Morris ‘On The Couch’. I’m not sure what his track record is like but he believes the Neale trade will start an 8 way mega trade. I can’t remember the specifics, all I remember is him stating we will get their first pick and a player back which he didn’t name.
  9. Lynch nominates Richmond ( surprise surprise)and is already dreaming of playing his first final next year.
  10. I haven’t laughed like that in years after hearing that. Absolute Gold!!
  11. Anyone want to sign the petition? https://www.zerohanger.com/pies-fan-starts-petition-to-reverse-grand-final-result-over-poor-umpiring-decisions-24174/
  12. Will we start to hear about requests from players as early as today?
  13. I thought Jesse would play a major part for us striving to gain the ultimate success in the years to come. I never once entertained the thought of the club trading him, but as we all know favourites leave from time to time for one reason or another. This would have been a major blow a few years ago but knowing we have some serious talent on the list and an opportunity to add some more eases the pain to a degree. To say I’m not upset about it though would be a lie.
  14. Imagine the melts on the North boards if we manage to pinch Gaff off them last minute. Let it happen.
  15. He also reported North is making a last ditch attempt at Lynch. Even if his reports are BS, amusement nonetheless.
  16. Ha ha, even is a very good result Macca. I finished a little in front, banking it for next week. The Caulfield track is known to be tricky especially if there’s a bit of wind about. The wind didn’t seem an issue though. Maybe it’s one those ‘forget’ runs from Grunt. It will be interesting to see what they do from here. It’s in the markets for the Caulfield Cup as well. Maybe there’s a race they will target as a lead up to the Cox on Guineas day.
  17. I hope we get the same lovely music as last year though the live-stream. 1st - Gawn 2nd - Oliver 3rd- Brayshaw 4th - Harmes 5th - Jetta
  18. I thought it was a very strong win by Homesman. You could see the jock on Grunt working on the horse before the home turn. I need to watch the replay to see if Grunt did a bit of work early to get to the front. The Spring is well and truly kicking off Macca, it will only get better from here.
  19. It was looming as the winner at one stage Macca. Currently looking into the next and I notice there’s a ‘Wagner’ running. Anything stick out to you?
  20. Is this correct? I was told it was May’s management that initiated the discussions. Either way, I wasn’t sold on May initially but there are some strong arguments on here about what he could add to the team and how it will benefit.
  21. Or we could just stick with Weir ?
  22. Well done Macca, early wins set up the day. A bit more freedom with the strategy for the rest of the day, for me anyway. Weir has a couple of horses in the next, very tough race to find a standout. Miss Leonidas is an above average mare, i like Egyptian Bullet at odds and In Good Time is unbeaten after 6 starts albeit in weaker grade. Soothing and Grey Shadow...aaargh too hard this one.
  23. Strong win in the end by Cliff’s Edge. It’s shaping as a good day for racing. Got off to a good start with Eclair Calling in the 1st, managed to find $8 with ‘Fat Odds’. Prized Icon in the 3rd endured a tough run being stuck out 3 wide the trip and tired expectedly. Weir with a double already.
