Well, looks like the poker table is up and running.

Yep, and the Norm Smith Medalist finished outside the top 10 in their B&F. Hoping to play them at the G next year for a change. Was the last time in 2014?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Unsubstantiated rumour by an SEN listener this morning. Goldstein was spotted meeting with Geelong people last week and the listener is convinced Goldy will be at Geelong next year. Can’t see Norf trading Goldy and Preuss unless they get someone like a Zac Smith in return.

Yep, definitely going to be penalised for a slow over rate...although the seamers seem to be coming on now.

It was interesting to read one of Tim Gossage’s tweets. He said he had contact with a few WCE players and they were all blown away but pumped Gaff stayed. The players he spoke to thought he was leaving.

200,000 views now. ? Maybe the FD are sneaking on here for a look and a chuckle.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Could be something in that hopefully. Lachie Neale did refer to Freo as ‘ they’ last night prior to his trade request when asked if the Dockers could make finals next year.- Andrew Gaff
It does set up a fascinating 10 days Red. Rosich declared Freo have their sights on 4 or 5 trade targets and haven’t given up on convincing Tim Kelly his future playing days could be at Cockburn.- Andrew Gaff
We’re pretty much covered here on DL, if this isn’t true we can just move all the latest posts to the Rumour File.- Andrew Gaff
A bit surprising, but good on him for staying. Who’s running with the Brad Scott GIFs?- A Day at the Races
I’m curious Macca. Most of these online bookies have the pay out policy on a horse for first past the post regardless if it loses a protest, that’s for a single win bet. Does this also apply for a multi bet?- A Day at the Races
I thought it would be upheld also Macca. Dad only invests $3 on his daily double so no biggie. Amphitrite impressive, I’ll shout him a beer. Amphitrite blew out to $5.40 fixed on Neds half an hour ago so I jumped on again. 3 out of 4 is marvellous work fellas.- A Day at the Races
Avilius now a $9 favourite for the Melbourne Cup and Jaameh at $26. For a moment I thought I better stop the beers as I was wondering why an overseas visitor by the name of Dyna Patty is favourite for the Melbourne Cup in my initial search. I was looking at the dishlickers market.?- Farewell Jesse Hogan

I think Jaameh might have a good case too Macca. Was watching the race with dad as he had Jaameh one out in his daily double. Told him not to rip his ticket just yet after watching the head on. Edit: Love the insight from the stewards room by the way. Both jocks making a good case.- A Day at the Races
Ha ha, I realise it’s a field of four but jeez. I remember once in a field of 3 I wanted to place an exacta then thought if I get the exacta I will also get the tri, so I filled out a trifecta ticket and my cousin that was with me at the time stopped me and said to place my initial exacta bet. I asked why? He said everyone will be thinking like me and the exacta might pay more than the tri as there’s less people betting on it. He was right that time.- A Day at the Races
Well done mate. Of course JJ selects the first four in order in the second at Morphetville and I missed it due to adding nothing of value to the Hogan thread. ??? just saw the dividend for the first four. $2.00... the tri paid more.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
This thread is the new internet sensation, we could have half a million views by the time we get to 300 pages.- A Day at the Races
I was once told Adelaide was money for jam during the Spring Racing. Smaller fields and you do find some good horses running around. We probably don’t spend the time studying there as much as we do for the Group racing here and Sydney. I don’t anyway Macca. It was indeed an impressive win by Unite and Conquer Macca. These first starters are tricky to pick and I just went with the Waterhouse & Bott combo due to my mate’s connections with them. I had no mail from him just an attempt at pot luck. Worked out good, best bets are on now on and it’s time to sit back and enjoy the day. I did receive a text a short time ago from a work colleague with an each way chance at Flemington. Race 4 No.7 Farooq.- Monkey Business

Cheers Macca. Took his selections in order in the first for a F4. A couple of bucks won’t hurt. Good start to the day with Unite And Conquer saluting in the 1st at Flem. Managed to find $9 Fat Odds. Edit: The $9 outsider of the four salutes at Morphetville. That happens more often than we think in small fields. Good win too.- A Day at the Races
Having a look at the ‘Without Winx’ market. Kings Will Dream $3.00 Grunt $3.20 I believe the odds for both are excellent value, but which one? - Farewell Jesse Hogan
