Great news - TMac has withdrawn from the AFLX game. Bad News - he's having minor knee surgery. Good News - The surgery will not stop him playing JLT or miss any home & away games. I was there with the Mrs and kids. At half time I wanted to go home (yeah, I know - soft!), but the kids made me stay because it was one of the first games when they allowed kick-to-kick on the G after the game and they wanted to do that. So glad we stayed, it was an unbelievable comeback!

My MFC/Demon army membership pack(s) arrived by courier at 6.30pm tonight - Yahooooooo! The 3 other members of the family didn't get their memberships though. I think that's because I order a members cap and t-shirt and the parcel was too big for the normal post. It's a different package this year - VERY professional looking. No longer do the items come in a 'pencil case', it's all in a paper/cardboard 'envelope' package.

GREAT trade for a quality ruckman. Now he just needs to train with Maxy over summer and get super fit!

The only stereotype I detest is when the commentators constantly refer to us as 'The Dee's' rather than 'The Demons'. It gets my backup as they always put the 'toffy' accented pronunciation on it. I know we use the 'Dee's' phrase in screaming 'Go Dees' etc, but other than for that reason, they should be using 'The Demons'. If they're going to abbreviate teams nicknames, then I want them to refer to Hawthorn as 'The Haws', just like The Demons treated them on Friday night!

My Highlight was that we were sitting in M3 and at about the 20 minute mark of the last 1/4 after Tmac kicked his 4th goal and then to see all the arrogant Hawthorn fairweather supporters get up and leave. All us in the back of M3 stood up, booed them and waved them goodbye! It was AWESOME Karma! Also, being there with my entire family to see the win - our first finals win together seeing it live! AWESOME night!
