The point is it should be heard in court, not a newspaper.

Fairly disgusting that the Herald Scum has quotes from the alleged victim about what allegedly happened. Let the man have his day in court.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - PAUL ROOS
Straight Sets Simon replied to timmyo64's topic in Melbourne Demons
I wouldn't be surprised if Roos ended up at West Coast. -
One of the reasons that Stynes was a huge success when he came on board was that he knew football and football clubs. Football clubs are a completely different beast to other businesses and industries so being good at one doesn't always translate to the other.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - PAUL ROOS
Straight Sets Simon replied to timmyo64's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hate him on TV, love to have him in the coaches box. Interesting to hear Eade say he would consider the job and I would be surprised if Mark Williams wasn't interested. Not long ago the "experts" on radio were saying "who would even want to coach Melbourne?" -

Yes, he dodged the question pretty well.

Available coaches poll from 2011 (bumped)

Roos hasn't entirely ruled it out entirely. -
Beamer shows a bit of class....
Straight Sets Simon replied to PartyTimeJohnny's topic in Melbourne Demons
Surprisingly on AFL 360 Robinson made a point of having a go at Moloney while Whateley mentioned it but wasn't going to add anything. Well done, Robbo. -
I read on Twitter that Dermott relayed a story about training for injured players being cancelled but the players weren't told? Did anyone hear this?
-
He has half a season to begin to try and turn things around and give supporters and the football world a reason to believe in Melbourne again. So what does he do? Change the game plan, play the kids or just let the players just "go out and play"? Can he do anything? Will it be enough to keep the likes of Sylvia, Watts and Frawley or is he part of the problem? I still think there is enough time to at least give us something to enjoy for the rest of the year, no matter how small.

Anyone for a bet - Next Coach Market
Straight Sets Simon replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
The thing about Caroline Wilson is she knows nothing about football, I would say less than your average supporter. Her strength is the relationship side if football, not what happens on game day. -

Even if you agree with Moloney it's poor taste and extremely immature. -
Neeld Sacked with Craig as Interim Coach
Straight Sets Simon replied to Satyriconhome's topic in Melbourne Demons
He was simply avoiding more headlines with his answer, of course he would do things differently. -
Why didn't anyone see this coming March 2013
Straight Sets Simon replied to Soidee's topic in Melbourne Demons
I saw it coming after one training session in January this year. -
Anyone can look good with good players, the test is what they are like with ordinary players. Neeld hasn't done very well in this test.

Greg Wells could be President

Probably wouldn't hurt to have someone like that at the club. -
Fact or opinion?

Mark Jamar... Shape up or ship out
Straight Sets Simon replied to Deemolition's topic in Melbourne Demons
I said this earlier in the year, the best thing to happen to Jamar was Gawn coming into the team. We need them to be our Cox/Naitanui ruck duo. -
Best Kick of the Year
Straight Sets Simon replied to Straight Sets Simon's topic in Melbourne Demons
No doubt he can kick the ball very well, it's just with that action I worry about consistency and kicking under pressure. -
Best Kick of the Year
Straight Sets Simon replied to Straight Sets Simon's topic in Melbourne Demons
The further you lean back, the higher the ball drop and greater room for error. -
He's getting better, but still as slow as a turtle.

Best Kick of the Year
Straight Sets Simon replied to Straight Sets Simon's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm not convinced, he leans back a lot with his kicks. Time will tell. -
Davey has reminded me that he is still one of the best kicks in the league, but the best kick so far this year has come from Trengove. In the first quarter, on the half-forward flank he hit Watts lace-out in a crowded forward line. What made this kick so good was he didn't kick the ball to Watts, he kicked the ball to space and made him lead to the ball. Melbourne players have a horrible habit of kicking to where the player is, not where he will be. This however was a tiny ray of light which suggests the players aren't completely clueless about the basics of football.
