Would you like to enlighten when these occurred "Jetta had two howlers and squibbed a marking contest", particularly the latter
-
I wonder how many more topics and how many more topic titles can posters come up with re the same thing, this is boring!!!!!!!!!

A couple of points Viney - I attended training on Thursday and Jack Viney completed the whole session, when the team selection chat was on the Club website that evening, comment from Andrew Nicol re Viney was "we found out late", methinks because Viney is Viney he was hiding the injury and playing through the pain, probably did a bit of damage hence he is now out longer than maybe he should be All the calls for Kent and Blease to come back in, had about 5 disposals between them in last couple of games they played, what is wrong with rewarding the guys that made the effort at the weekend?

If you had also listened to some of the names, you would have realised that a few of them have been around a few years as well, either at the Hawks or brought in from other clubs, but hey, sure you can hit a target any time you like

5 Years Says Neeld - Who is going to cop that?
Satyriconhome replied to Mongrel Dee's topic in Melbourne Demons
Make sure you beg to differ at match committee, sure Neeld will listen to what you have to say -
Evans, Toumpas, Viney once they have played the same number of games, both Libba and Dalhaus are inconsistent, we are looking for consistency

yes, they need to get his body built properly so keeping him out of the guts for now, but making reasonable fist of playing forward, so we will have a big bodied midfielder who can also play forward and kick goals, sound familiar to someone everybody thinks will leave at the end of the season, what the Club actually developing properly we can't have that the naysayers (hi Rjay) won't like that
-
Yes you have the right to an opinion, you just don't seem to appreciate people disagreeing with it, sorry your almightiness, of course you're right
-
What a Footy journo/commentator out of step with the rest? wouldn't last 5 minutes, the only one with any balls is Luke Darcy. Take a rumour, turn it into a story, sit back and watch it repeated in one form or another and become a fact
-
Yes but you implied that was what Jackson meant, he said no such thing It is like me saying on here that some posters have an IQ in the 3 digit range, but forgetting to mention the first 2 are zeroes
-
Damn your NB, I was enjoying that stupid post about Kelly O'Donnell, I was going to shoot it down
-
We must let the Club know, what with your years of recruiting experience at AFL level behind you
-
Does that mean the end of your whingeing posts as well then, if you are not watching you will have no valid input, not that we would notice the change
-
"But why offer job security when you're getting nothing in return?"......do you know for a minute I thought the CFMEU had taken over the board
-
It is not defending, it is ridiculing the so called experts on here that want every single player we recruit to come out in his first game, get 40 possessions, kick 10 goals, lay 15 tackles, look good on camera in the post game interview, and have a quickie with the opposition's gun midfielders girlfriend in the dressing room straight after the game to really prove a point He has played 20 odd games, he is still developing, perhaps it might be a dud choice and if that is the case the Footy Dept will fix that, but "we" have no idea about the drafting and why it happened
-
He was a week or so in and he was thinking out loud, but if you want to interpret it that way, feel free It's not a leak, it is Barrett, which bit don't you get
-
I thought by your tone you had prevaricated rather than predicated
-
Again, he didn't say that either, he was thinking out loud............. I can't see that there are real problems, I am not in the Club on a daily basis, are you?......you are basing your sight/opinion on hearsay/rumour/innuendo etc, what I can see is that the players performed very poorly last weekend and hopefully they will be better this weekend, personally I think unfortunately we have a group of players maybe half the team at any time that is severely lacking in confidence, Neeld and Co are trying to rebuild this confidence.....
-
Why, you are going to base the vitriol you will spit out based on the couple of games he has played? How many AFL games has he played and what salary is he on?
-
Oh yeah, go the biff, that'll show em', prefer we concentrate on getting the basics right and then maybe get a win Perhaps you should have watched Casey against Port a couple of weeks ago if you don't think Toumpas can look after himself

Is communication mark neeld's biggest weakness?
Satyriconhome replied to Norm Smith's Curse's topic in Melbourne Demons
That's very optimistic of you, you would have thought the membership would have died after the start to this season, but members are still signing up -
"we are going to get reamed", you certainly have an interesting private life Watched training yesterday for two hours, every 10 minutes or so, it was tackling and wrestling drill, hopefully they got the message

Is communication mark neeld's biggest weakness?
Satyriconhome replied to Norm Smith's Curse's topic in Melbourne Demons
The only mistake Neeld has made is not taking into account the mindset of some of the players when we get a couple of goals behind, he tells them constantly to take the game on, they are encouraged to do it, that is why the newer ones who are not carrying the last five or six years baggage are amongst the best players each week. Listen to Robbie Flower on the Robbo Show he explains it so much more eloquently than I do -

I think that says more about you than the teachers -
It's what the 25 touches create, that is his problem, I prefer the way we are going, if Moloney leaving gave us Matt Jones, great
