"Davis I thought had a good game. The times I noticed him coming out of defence, he always found a casey player by foot", that can't possibley be right can it?.......posters on here are adamant he can't kick......another myth/untruth/rumour/etc lays in the corner slowly deflating........
-
No it's not old chap, try asking a few questions and do a bit of research and you will find 'your wins' is not correct, besides which supporters are not walking away in droves, the membership is creeping along nicely, because people can see past the rubbish perpetuated by some journalists and regurgitated by some on here. It is only a 'select' band of so called supporters on here who want to see the Club fail so they justity to themselves that they were/are right, sad really
-
My morning comedy gold, watching through the bottom of a glass was he?
-
Fitzy is only 3 games into his season, I assume he will be rewarded at some stage, but I prefer this way, you don't want to bouncing backwards and forwards, although he and Chris Dawes did work well at the weekend
-
I was wondering whether you were trying to emaulate your namesake with the brevity, but now I realise you have absolutely nothing to offer, I assume this will leave you sniggering behind your keyboard Getting back on topic, would assume the mail about Hannath did not include Fremantle seriously considering him, they hadn't invited him over and not spoken to him a lot, hence I think the Club thought they would rookie him
-
I thought you were in agreement with the other posters who said he had nothing to offer, so he has offered exactly that, how do you know the above by the way? about the skin folds and time trials?
-
He wouldn't have been picked if he was underdone, what reports, I watched him complete most sessions that I attened throught the preseason, which was at least 8
-
Soxy, no idea really have you, try reading what I and Fifty-5 wrote
-
Love these topics and the posters are the usual members or the Hole in the Head gang, keyboards running hot with negativity, rain clouds hovering Jones is a differnt type of player, but bloody good on him for doing so well He was a mature age recruit at North, drafted for a purpose which then didn't eventuate, why was he underdone, proof. My previous post, nice to see CFB come back with his usual incisive garbage, I await the day when he will actually post something that a. is related to the topic b. not having a go at somebody...but then again I may be in for a long wait Rodan doesn't have to be in the AFL side to influence, I watched the Casey game and he was one who help drag Casey back into the game in the last qtr, to just fall short
-
Actually my stomach turns on some of the complete and utter rubbish posted on here, Pedersen has played 20 AFL games, he is still developing, one of the reasons we traded for him
-
What did you do leave early?, Port lifted, Casey fought back, silly turnover and umpire decision and game lost, the last qtr was excellent from both teams, jst a chance to have a dig at AFL side perhaps, and for anybody that knocks Toumpas...no idea
-
Isn't it nice to have WYL's mother posting as well
-
Yes, lots of side streets, etc, not sure about the rules though, most seem to park in street that runs down east side of ground, we walk there so only saying what I have seen
-
You're like a broken record WYL, your spelling is mediocre, I'm actually getting more optimistic the further we get into the season It is only you and a few others on this Board that are wallowing, like I said wish I had a graphic of a person sitting at a keyboard with a rain cloud above their head, then you and your fellow wallowers could just post that and not the repetitive nonsense you keep posting......put yourself up for President like I said before, start a petition or shut up about Don McLardy, its boring I assume you meant Watts about freezing, you judging him in comparison to your playing days?
-
Clisby is a mature age rookie, but has speed and can kick, just lightly built, looks ok at VFL Level, went ok in the SANFL, you can find some clips, reckon they will look at what 12 months does for him, probably needs a full pre seasonStark is very young, spoken to him a couple of times, no need for a visit to Coles for the bag of confidence for him, will be a very good outside mid to begin with, there is no rush with him, again think they want to look at him in 12 months for progress, actually scouted by Neeld himself. Just a word on another of the young blokes, Tynan, picked up a lot of injuries, so they are rebuilding him, hence the Development squad, he is not phased, knows what the plan for him is, he was BOG last week, so confidence being built as well Taggert is on the way back from serious injury, originally slated for Development squad like Tynan, but impressed, wouldn't mind a glimpse in second half of season if still playing well Going to Port tomorrow to watch anyway
-
Then you tell me what it is then? Coz that's all I think the problem is
-
What don't you go to games, it is happening because as I put in another post, we haven't got an experienced midfield at the moment, we are trying like hell to get there though Not platitudes, just trying to put to be the lie that Neeld has lost the players There is no substance, half the time negative posters contradict themselves......Spencer gets picked and they decry him, yet they ask for competitiveness, he is one of the most competitive we have Of course we are nowhere near the expectations, I wanted us to be 5 and zip, but we aren't and I understand why, walked away from Essendon game gutted...but backed up next week....that's footy....
-
I have been desperately trying to find a graphic, with a person sitting at their keyboard, with a rain cloud about their head, that way posters like yourself wouldn't have to type anything you could just post the graphic and we would all know what you mean, I mean we see the same thing most of the time anyway...you, the master, CBF, et al
-
Actualy he said that in reply to a journalist's question "Neeldy do you realise that 30000 members have re signed for the season because despite the results and to the contrary of some of the postings on Demonland and the constant regurgitation of the same tired old newspaper reports, they can actually see what you are trying to achieve and are willing to give you a chance to do it"
-
It was one 15 minute drill in a trainging regime they have been doing since October, what is this, let's find the smallest fault and magnify it, perhaps there was a point made that there wasn't enough voice on the field, and why the ball is handballed to somebody static, does that appeal to your obvously superior coaching skills, going to apply for Brian Royal's job I take it.......and I have coached as well
-
Was nowhere as aharp as you say as some we have both watched, that's why thought it was more of a shakedown session, a lot of emphasis on voice rather than skills, but that said, I thought some of the field kicking at times against Brisbane was excellent, so go figure
-
I was at the same training sessuon, so I will try and counter your rather jaundiced view, seems you took the opportunity to follow your "the coach is a dud agenda", as Hardtack said there is another topic for that, notice most of the usual suspects have joined in, gets rather tedious seeing the same old posts repeated ad nauseum If you had listened to Royal, the drill was all about voice, nothing too dramatic but getting the handball away to the voice, and picking the clear option Neeld was out in the middle for most of the session, strange you didn't notice him, except where he came off to have a quick chat which Mitch Clark before Clark left, maybe he was asking what he was having for lunch Called them all together in the middle, (not Grimes) at one point to point something out True some of the kicking in the kicking drill mentioned above was a bit ordinary, but it certainly wasn't as disastrours as you have said, by the way there was two of us and we thought the same thing, think this was more of a shakedown session before the trip to Brisbane, don't forget they had Friday as well, if you also listened carefully you would have heard the 'Leaders' having a dip at the miscreants anyway, one in particular was Trengove at Spencer for a lazy effort. Mitch Clark by the way was there for about half an hour As for Neeld losing the players, this is so far from the truth, Neeld encourages trainers and players, if they are asked a question, to tell the truth, I have asked quite a few and get the same positive answers about him. But most of the usual suspects won't believe that, so hey what can I say It is quite simple at the moment apart from Nat Jones and Col Sylvia, we have a midfield that probably has a combined total of less than 30 games, that is where the problem is, experience
-
Basically you will find the reports stop when the season is on, as there is nothing really to report, the MFC and Casey games are on and reported/watched/televised etc If I go I try and chat to as many as I can, I then report the conversations And because it is me, this may be regarded as not impartial, but the story that Neeld has lost the players. is one thing, [censored]
-
That's this year, right? Coz so have I and it has improved this year, including the last two weeks, here is report from MFC website, know it is sugary but no mention of it spoiling his game "Troy Davis: Troy continues to play some quality football as a key defender. He competed well against Ayce Cordy of Williamstown and had nine strong spoils and generated four rebound 50s"
-
Roost It, this confirms what I have been trying to say for last month or so, but the naysayers don't want to hear it, I have heard it from staff members, players and the assistant coaches I'm with PaulRB "Less than 1% offer anything more than biased venting from our weekends defeat dressed up as "justified anger" toward our coach. Which I think has become tedious and demeaning to all" It angers me that some supporter/posters on this board seem to be wishing for Melbourne to get belted and this will lead to Neeld being sacked, which is what they want And then we have others, where the post is all about them, "i am sad", "I am depressed" etc etc ad nauseum...it's footy, they can't have much a life if it means that much to them....maybe they should look at that first Edit must proof read something typed qukicyl
