You don't read or comprehend do you, I said I can see what is going on, I personally want us to be patient, unfortunately I don't think we will be.The club is not in trouble big time, you are exaggerating. How do you propose to turn it around.....no....let me guess.....sack everybody.....and get Paul Roos.......
-
It doesn't matter whether the poster is a Foundation Hero or a guy in the US who can't get to games, if they post what I consider to be a ridiculous argument, I will post why I think that. of course atop his pedestal will look down on me and gently abuse me
-
Recidivist abuser - moi -probably when I was younger, but find it hard to rise to the occasion now..........but sarcastic maybe, condescending..ever so slightly......I just don't want you or some others (WYL) straining anything trying to debate with me...Dees2014 thank you for the defence, unfortunately the don't recognise it in themselves so you will receive it as well

Gee Howe went backwards at a rate of knots last week....Rivers wanted success before he retires (this year?) Jamar was ok with it, he was asked a few times -

Caroine, will you please stop changing your nickname, it is getting harder to keep track of what topic you are in or starting......nice to see every rumour you have treated as fact -
In serious danger from what, King Kong is not real WYL it is an animatronic puppet.....don't expect to see it hanging from a light tower on Sunday....the club is not going to fold.........blind eye to what....I watch the on field performance, I can see what is going on, maybe a bit of patience is needed but unfortunately I don't think that's gonna happen...... Iva, I have a job that requires me to run reports, which take eons, coz you are dealing with big numbers, gives me time to read, digest and answer if that is ok with you
-
All this topic has done has opened the door for the "sky is falling, sky is fallling"....... brigade and WYL who seems to be stuck in repeat mode....click....sssss......click......ssss I work in an office full of other teams supporters, nobody comes near me with any comment or attempt at humour with the Dees as the butt of it.....coz I tell them to sod off and remind them of when they were in the same boat........the jokes are all retreads anyway...I put a joke myself on twitter yesterday, ........in the tradition of the flashing horns Melb supporters are being offered a special gift on Sunday....a blindfold and a last cigarette.......er it's just footy

What if after Monday's board meeting Neeld is announced as being the coach until the end of the season?
-
Thanks WJ, I think it warrants and deserves it, it is a beautifully written summary of the last few years at our magnificent club There is a long twitter by the way I have put WJ's piece on Twitter under my handle @Demonpk Here is the link on TwitLonger http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1rki66q Can you RT or send it to a journalist if you know their handles, I sent it to Rohan Connolly, one of the less strident
-
WJ, may I humbly request you send this to the Club and put it on Twitter, or can I have your permission to
-
Again your lack of comprehension bemuses me, it has nothing to do with Etihad, they were playing there 3 or 4 years ago and were making finals and had 40000 members, they seem to be on the slide, so this season have 32000, my point I have just read WJ's contribution, I think we can close this topic now coz it says it all.

No nobody is saying that they are happy with how the team is performing at the moment, but understand there are a lot of reasons why, this topic was to gauge the feelings of the Foundation Heroes and others who put time and money into the Club, most of the feedback has been positive....you excepted of course..........so therefore most can understand why. My expectations have been lowered since the first game, because I didn't expect the mental baggage that has afflicted the team for the last year or two to still be there to such an extent, I assume Neeld didn't either, but obviously it is, but slowly this will be chipped away. I also don't believe, like some, that Paul Roos or Choco are miracle workers, and that if they took the team over there would be a change in the results and we would win every game from now on One of the points I was trying to make, is St Kilda have dropped 8000 members in a year, nothing to do with the 'poor administration' it is because for a number of reasons they are not performing on the field , unforunately there is a percentage of AFL supporters who only want to watch a side winning most games and making finals, and only get on board when that happens As for Kennet, one of the reasons Schwab was sacked was 'he polarised', there is nothing more I need to say

Don't stuff it up again MFC - learn from your mistakes
Satyriconhome replied to Ron Burgundy's topic in Melbourne Demons
So what, you think before each game, Neeld and the assistants sit in the change rooms and say to the players, ok today we want you to go out and lose again, try reading his body language at the end of the second qty against Freo A point, I don't know whether he will be sacked or not, but when he says "it is what it is"...he is correct, we have an inexperienced team so we should expect ups and downs, but we all agree the downs are way too far down, hopefully in the next two games, that can be fixed -

You have forgotten the two or three standing on the grassy knoll, I assume you sat in on every meeting , otherwise you know zip -
Exactly what I was trying to say, I have donated both time and money to the Club, yes there have been mistakes and we have paid for them, like Eddie McGuire is now, but what is most of the 'cancer' that some posters so dramatically put? We are not performing on the field, personally I am not surprised, Neeld was given a mandate to start from the bottom again, yes it's painful and he may not see it out, but that is reality, it is going to take time butconsidering as I said before even after the disastrous start to the season we have only shed about 2500 members and we still have major sponsors on board, so it is not all doom and gloom Do yourself a favour and check out St Kilda's membership for the last couple of years including this one If we had put up another Richmond like showing against Fremantle, half the topics on this board wouldn't be running, besides which most of the topics, apart from this one, which is a good question, are started by a small minority of posters with some particular axe to grind

I am not a Foundation Member, but I think the denigration of the administration is a bit over the top There are separate issues here. iIf you think the administration is at fault for hiring Mark Neeld and his team, then you are wrong, it was on the recommendation of one G Lyon Cameron Schwab had to be removed because of the associated 'stench' he carried from the tanking affair, so therefore we need to wear the payout At the moment we are taking financial hits from 3 things, membership is down from last year, attendance is down from last year, both obviously an effect from the way the team is playing and fines or payouts We still have 30000+ members and a full list of sponsors,, so the administration must be doing something right
-
No, (we have Dom Barry who is much more mature and level headed at a younger age), it will be Dan Connors next...sigh
-
Stop thinking that if Mark Neeld goes we are suddenly going to become a really good team and win the remaining games during the season....er no....there will be a lot more pain to go this year yet
-
I sincerely hope for you that MN being gone is the answer, personally I don't think so, but best of luck with the better half
-
Why are Liam Anthony and Todd Banfield not getting games in teams that are having problems?, that'll fix ours getting them in
-
Why do we need a topic 'encouraging' 'supporters' to turn up for the next two weeks, thought that was a given
-
"i think that of all the available coaches, Roos did the most with the least. his teams played pretty ugly footy though from memory. ross lyon sort of stuff.".....I think that was because Lyon was Roos' midfield coach
-
No they won't, imagine what a look that would be, any time a club finds itself in the same situation in the future, and it will happen, St KIlda say hi, they will expect the same
