I really thought we were the better team on the day. Our best was very exciting. The 2nd quarter was some of the best footy I've seen this club play in a very long time. Just gave away too many cheap goals. And we had no one strong enough for Cloke as usual.

1994 talent wise was the one for me.

We still aren't playing like a Paul Roos coached team. Sydney ALWAYS cracked in and worked hard. Every week. We are still picking and choosing.

On Dunn, we will have to wait till his next contract year to get another good game out of him. Does it every time!

Horribly deflating after being so on top of this game. No one lays down and dies when challenged quite like the Dees.

His best games this year, we win. Spot on.

This game gives some perspective. We are miles away from challenging the top 3, but we are handing ourselves pretty well with the rest of the pack.

If only Jake Spencer could play on Cordy every week.

I'd love to get Treloar or Sheil at the club, but methinks it's going to get harder to pry players out of GWS now they are up an about.

Watts is back in purely because our talent pool is so shallow.

I gotta admit it burns watching other teams transform under a new coach in just one pre season, where we have the highest paid coach in the league, and 18 months in we are still questioning the minimum requirements of our players, effort, etc.

I'd give Jonathon Griffin a fat pay cheque to come over from Freo. He's killing in in the WAFL, just can't crack into that side with sandilands.

I think even Toumpas knows we should have picked someone else.

The last 3 weeks have been garbage. Never going to win these games but the required effort just hasn't been there. Make these teams earn these wins FFS. Its depressing how far away we are from these teams.

Spencer needs a good run at it. I liked that his strength worried Pyke. Got a few free kicks (handballs) out of the ruck where as Jamar seems to give plenty a way. He also likes to get involved in the clearance after the hit out too which Jamar doesn't either. He's not perfect but offers more than Jamar does at the moment. I felt Toumpas was played out of position as a defender. Let him run around the ball, see what he can do. It made him look worse than what he is trying to spoil players like Reid.

JKH can't kick a goal to save his life.

You have to feel it for our defence and forward line. Our midfield makes their job a nightmare.

I remember a few years back him saying he wanted to be the best player in the league, or something along those lines. I giggled but i also loved his determination. This guy was always going to get the best out of himself. Absolute star.
