Our problem is basically losing all structure when pressured. Panic football. Too many players get drawn into the contest.
-
Jesse's looking a bit flat tonight. I'm hoping the Hulkster didn't give him the big leg drop during the week.
-
We are years away from being any good. Our only "upset" wins are against bottom 10 sides.
-
The players look baffled out there trying to move the ball. Hope Roosy has some tricks up his sleeve or this is going to get Fugly.
-
Mckenzie's game reminded me of when Nicho came in for one game last year. If he's dropped this week i reckon he's gone. Just not good enough at this level unfortunately despite his best efforts.
-
Absolutely. But Jack is doing this week in week out. When he was out marked by Jamie Bennell last year I gave up.
-
Freo defenders parked themselves in front of him a few times on the lead. He should be making defenders earn those marks. He just glances by them. Zero aggression. The tackles he accumulates are when he's been beaten one on one and chasing the ball he should have won in the first place. The amount of one on one battles he loses, regardless of the size or height of the opponent is embarrassing.

What is going on with Tyson? Looks unfit, disinterested.
-
Just watched the videos. That is some shockingly bad form from the two.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 5
Pipefitter replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
The list is getting stronger. Our depth players are depth now, not best 22. -
Vince for Sylvia. Hogan for Scully. Brayshaw for Frawley. After nearly a decade of list management nightmares the wheel is starting to turn.

Those kicks on friday night just showed he is mentally shot at the moment.
-
We gave them Martin for next to nothing. Hopefully they can repay the favour.
-
He has a habit of dropping the easy marks. He can't be that mentally weak surely. Hopefully it's a technique problem.

THE DRUG SCANDAL: AFL TRIBUNAL DECIDES
Pipefitter replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm comfortably satisfied that the illegal drugs Dank sourced are now in the bodies of essendon players. -
A thought came to me. Is there a difference between sledging Clark about his illness and Viney riding Ablett's shoulder into the ground at every opportunity?

2015 - the year to remove all the BS records
Pipefitter replied to highroller's topic in Melbourne Demons
Beating Geelong has overtaken any self indulgent Dee fantasy i have. -
To me after Kent got floored, there was a typical weak melbourne shove to Shaw before H showed up out of nowhere throwing his weight around. That really fired the boys up.

Which player positively suprised you against GC

Def Garland. I had completely written him off. -
I'm with The Oracle. Dees by plenty.

THE DRUG SCANDAL: AFL TRIBUNAL DECIDES
Pipefitter replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Essendon supporters are just unbelievable. "Just so proud of the boys". They feel like they were vindicated and they did nothing wrong. Stuff the haters, #donthesash etc etc. Remember when all of us Melbourne supporters took to social media to gloat about getting away with tanking? Yeah me neither. -
This is true, but they def won't be playing this weekend at the very least.

Left out James Hird.
