Other teams have players with X-Factor who can turn a game in a few acts (i.e. Buddy, Cyril - until he retired, Danger, DeGoey etc) - who is our player? Maybe Melksham?

Hope we hit the finals like we did in 1987 - won the first final against the Roos by 118, then the next against the Swans by 73!

Actually the difference is 357 points - so the odds are incredibly long!

Depending on how well Vanders goes over the next three weeks, I thought he might compete with Tim Smith for a spot - however, Tim is 4cm taller and 5kgs heavier (according to MFC website). Perhaps Hannan and Vanders might be competing for a spot, depending on Vanders pace?

Need to kick the ball low if small forward line. Need another tall for structure in forward line. Harmes is not a back-up ruckman! Poor coaching effort - no plan B. Very few stood up after 1/4 time - did they drink their own bathwater? Really poor effort. Better fire up against Richmond!
