So I loves my dream team and was taking a look at a few of the options on offer this year and quite a few demons came up: Pederson Viney Grimes Kent Obviously 4 is too many, but last year I had none and this year I'm considering 4. I may have lost my mind. Pederson and Viney are looking especially good. Both are really cheap and should play most games.

Does anyone else think she looks like overly attached girlfriend? Maybe that's what they were going for. -
Internet tough guys are my favourite kind of tough guy. Back on topic: Thanks to whoever posted those happy images, we can now confirm that he does indeed have teeth. Good to see him having fun with the playing group

Best I could find, looks pretty similar to the one you're already using. Might be better resolution when shrunk down though. http://www.afl-wallpapers.com/bulkupload/AFLwallpapers/Port%20Adelaide%20FC/port-adelaide-robbie-flower.jpg

simple, with the 4chan url. I assume you realise I'm not seriously suggesting this right? -
Who knows man. It might be cultural, he might be too distracted by the situation to say anything, or he might just be a dick. Like you said, we just don't know enough to make the call.

Ah, now I'm with you. The tone didn't translate over text. Thinking about it now, I'd want to go to the footy and yell "Pedo-Bear" every time he gets near the ball if for no other reason than to catch the glints of recognition from other supporters and silently share the comedic moment. -
What a load of crap. Liam comes from here: http://goo.gl/maps/dyTfa You can't tell me that growing up in one of the most remote communities in Australia and growing up in the suburbs of Melbourne are the same thing and expect him to just toughen up. It's worlds apart.

Hey man, not everything created on 4chan is bad or has sexual connotations. I'm pretty sure Rickrolling and lolcats started there and they're as fit for public consumption as anything else. Nevertheless I will refrain from posting such things to avoid conflict with those who do not share my sense of humour. edit: grammar -

How about 'bear'. As in Pedo Bear. -
Holy Sh!t check this one out!

Larger version for those of us without magnifying glasses: Interesting connotations on Neeld's gesture there... edit: just realised they aren't the same. Similar though.
-
I'm not sure what to be more disappointed in - the obviousness of the 'strategy' or the fact that it was published as a news story.

"Its no skin off my back." - Olisik, Nov 14th Training thread. Missed the apostrophe too

I get what you're saying, but he just doesn't look happy to be here in the photos I've seen. Crack a smile once in a while, kid. You're been drafted to an AFL club at 17, surely it's worth a little one. Or maybe he just takes a [censored] photo, I myself have that particular affliction.

I hear a lot of people, especially Americans, saying "I could care less" when they mean "I couldn't care less". Not a mixed metaphor, but it annoys the hell out of me. Not only is it incorrect but it makes no sense as well. Also "It's not rocket surgery", but most of the time when I hear it it's being used in an ironic way.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - DAVID RODAN
Bluey's Dad replied to Demon Head's topic in Melbourne Demons
Why, did he start a poll? -
From Facebook trades page: "The Brisbane lions are gearing up to make a play for versatile big man Stefan Martin from the dees." If true, I wouldn't mind seeing what they'd offer. Don't suppose they have some 23/24 year old outside mids with good training habits?
-
Jumping for joy if we snare him with 58! The source worries me greatly though.
-
Never heard of those awards - I'd love to see them, is it a DL thing? Can I assume Morton won it? I'm not sure Rivers was a better forward than Garland. Either way neither have had an extended period in that position to test themselves.
-
Well we've already taken Byrnes and I remember reading that they were looking at Ray. Surely pick 4 is earmarked for a mid.
-
Interesting that Neeld has said that versatility is one of the things he wanted to work on at the Dees. Seems to match up with your assessment of Garland/Rivers.
-
As would I, but I still think 58 will be a hard sell to North. Just seems a little too low. Funnily enough I thought 45 would be about right
