Took them a while to get going, but St Kilda looked pretty good out there. Doesn't matter that they were missing Anderson, Rowell and King, pre-season ot not, GC shouldn't be losing games by 10+ goals with the list they have.

I'm not doubting that Viney will still play an important role off the field with his leadership, but realistically, how many games does he play this year? This would've been a great opportunity to give one of our younger leaders some more responsibility.

I think it's pretty well established that Gawn works best as a solo act and not part of an ensemble. Not overly surprised to see him down on his usual form.

No MFC injuries = a brilliant spectacle 10/10 would recommend.

Not much to report as far as Demon representatives are concerned. Kozzy had a couple of nice early touches but otherwise quiet.

This guy was ragdolling senior defenders left and right. I have no doubt he caught the eyes of the coaches. The fact that he'll be lining up for Casey this season shows that we still have a slight interest in him.

Derryn isn't too well at the moment from what I hear. As for Neil, one of the last times I recall he made a public appearance as a MFC member was when he said the club had a 'smell of death' about it. Circa 2013 from what I recall.

Looks good, but after drafting Trelly and Tommy Matthews, our small stocks are looking pretty healthy. If the coaches rate him though, I'm sure we'll find a spot for him.

I'm looking forward to next season more than I have for any season since 2022. Do I think we'll finish top 8? Probably not, but there's a real freshness in the air. Almost as if a massive weight has been lifted off the club's shoulders. Realistically, I think we'll finish around 10/11th, but there'll be some real excitement in how we play as we continue to get games into the likes of Langford, Lindsay and now Taylor and Pickett V2. Bold prediction: CJ will be one of the top five recruits of the trade period.

I think that Max stays as captain for at least more season before someone new takes over. I can't help but notice how prevalent and vocal with the group Kade Chandler has been in some of the recent output from the media team. Could he be a smokey?

Happy that he gets another crack at it albeit at VFL level. I feel that he could've offered more than Sharp in the senior side this season. Never really was given a good crack at it

CJ will be an exciting watch off half back. As long as he plays within his limitations (his disposal by hand looked a bit off today) I think he'll be a good pick up. Loved his evasive work in some of the tight contest drills today. Honestly didn't notice Mihocek or Steele much.

Lever looks to be completely over his ankle issues. Doesn't look hampered at all. Riley Onley attempts an audacious grab in the centre of the ground to the gasps of the crowd. Doesn't quite nail his timing, but it looked great!

Disco's skills have been great to watch so far today. Looks primed for a big'26 wherever he ends up playing. CJ has been a bit off with his disposal by hand today. Looks better when he elects to kick.
