You'd imagine Hibberd would be sub. Would be bizarre to completely drop him after his superb shut down job on Jamie Elliot last week.

With McKay out, would it be worth rolling the dice by bringing in Tomlinson and throwing May forward? Would certainly provide a better forward contest than Schache or Grundy. We're running out of options.

You can't understate how impressive that win is. Swans were playing for a home final and had the emotional motivation of Buddy's farewell behind them. They were all over us in that third quarter and we slowly worked our way back into the match. Full credit to our leaders in Petracca, Gawn and Viney who kickstarted the fightback. Gotta mention Laurie as well. Had some important touches when he came on for Melk.

We looked much better in that last 5 minutes. Laurie having an immediate impact.

Looking forward to seeing Laurie get a full game. Been very consistent in the VFL over the last couple months. I like the Schache sub choice. Gives us some added flexibility forward.

He looks like someone who hasn't played a game of football for three months. In all seriousness, he's competed ok in the air and ruck. Our inside 50's haven't helped.

Can he play as a key forward?

Beautiful coast to coast play. Mark and goal to 'Starship' Jefferson.

We have forward depth, but it's not Goody's fault that we've been decimated with injury issues in that part of the ground. TMac, Fritsch, Brown and Petty have all spent time on the sidelines this season. JVR and Jefferson are still raw but have promising futures.
