  1. Can anyone clarify if Bowey was injured or if he was simply a tactical sub? If the latter, surely Turner, Petty or JVR would've been a better option to take off considering the conditions? On that note, I thought Woewodin showed a bit when he came on. Nine touches in the final quarter.
  2. McAdam and Bowey in for Laurie and Woewodin if they're good to go. Billings dropped to sub.
  3. 6. Lever 5. May 4. Gawn 3. Fritsch 2. Oliver 1. Windsor
  4. 21 marks and 49 disposals (at an average of 90% efficiency) between May and Lever tonight. Also, along with TMac, kept Cameron and Hawkins to 0.4
  5. Caleb Windsor is unreal. Must be a shoe in for a rising Star nomination this week.
  6. Of course it's Daicos. McKay's turnover a huge moment.
  7. Outside the ground and there's a very light shower at the moment.
  8. I'd rather keep Schache for another year.
  9. Poor Spargs is clearly struggling with that Achillies injury. He's been listed as 3-4 weeks away since round 2.
  10. Easy one to forget, but Daniel Cross gave us two very good years in 14-15.
  11. Clohesy looks a serious prospect for GC.
  12. Beautiful tapwork from Fullarton and Sestan kicks a third to go with his 17 touches.
  13. Interesting to see that Fraser Rosman is currently lining up for Port Melbourne.
  14. Bailey Laurie with 15 touches and 11 tackles to half time.
  15. 6. Gawn 5. Chandler 4. Rivers 3. Langdon 2. McDonald 1. Viney
  16. I'd much prefer getting more games into Bowey.
  17. 22 points is flattering. We were nowhere near it tonight.
  18. Thanks for sharing, not just for the TMac highlights, but for also for bringing the name Tom McNamara back into my mind for the first time in 13 years.
  19. Lingers definitely hasn't been at the level of '21 and the first half of '22 for a while, but his season so far has been a step above of what we've seen in the last 18 months.
  20. Just got out of Elvis Costello at the Palais (superb concert by the way) and checked the scores for the first time. I honestly couldn't care about the inaccurate score line, two wins in a week in hostile territory is a terrific achievement that the media will no doubt fail to bring attention to over the coming week. Great to see Fritta amongst the goals. Looks set for another 50+ year. Looking forward to seeing McVee's highlights. Sounds like he was superb.
  21. Lachie Hunter is currently sitting on 197 AFL games. I know he's been injured of late but you'd think we'll see him in the side at some point this season.
  22. Considering the degree of difficulty and time of the game, I don't think you'll see many first AFL goals better than Windsor's.
  23. From his first game against the Doggies last season, there was just something about the way Judd moved and used the ball that screamed natural footballer. It's clear the coaching staff have enormous confidence in his ability considering he's taking a large number of the kick ins and being matched up on the oppositions gun small forward. I think he's been great so far this year.
  24. Just when I thought he had a career best game last week, he comes tonight with a BOG match winning performance. Easily one of our important players at the moment alongside Maxy and May.
  25. I'm proud to say that today's match was the first Melbourne game I've attended interstate. What a bloody win. Couldn't be prouder of the boys.
