WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Still only 24... Genuinely scary.

My 3 word player analysis V StKilda
He's certainly been quieter than last year (especially today) but I haven't minded Fritsch's season so far. He's still on track for 40+ goals which would be a great return from a third tall. Also, I feel that he's been involved in setting up his teammates for goals a fair bit more this year. EDIT: Just checked the stats and Fritta is ranked third at the club for goal assists this year. Only behind ANB and Petracca.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs St Kilda
Great win! Saints have looked really good at times this year and Never really came close to us, even with their momentum in the third quarter (two goals to our one). Really looking forward to seeing how Salem fits back in the team when he's fit. Gus down back is playing career best football (may've played a career best game today) while Jordan keeps improving on the wing. Good problem to have! For those who were watching closely, did St Kilda ever try to shut down Langdon? Seems like they just let him do as he pleased which was surprising considering the effectiveness of Hawthorn's tagging efforts last week.

NON-MFC: Round 8, 2022
McStay a big out for Lions with both Daniher and Hipwood on the sidelines. Rayner now taking on a big role up forward.

Oh my goodness North Melbourne. That was comical.

Why Petracca, Oliver & Gawn could be best Demons yet
Gee, minus hitouts, you'd be happy if those stats came from one of your midfielders never mind a 6 ft 8 ruckman. Stats aside, if you look at his impact on games, It boggles the mind that Max is actually getting better. His ability to hit the scoreboard on a regular basis over the last two seasons has elevated him to a whole new level. Looking forward to the Gawn/Jackson vs Ryder/Marshall ruck battle this weekend. Probably the two best ruck combos in the competition at the moment.

When was the last time you watched Melbourne lose?
Gee, really have to wind the clock back here! After going through the fixtures, I think mine is round 22, 2019 (was only able to attend two games last year, both wins) where we played Sydney on a Friday night at the G. After kicking three goals in the first quarter, we went goalless for the next two before finishing on 5.12.42, marginally behind Sydney's 15.5.95.

2021 Player Reviews #29 Jayden Hunt
Almost forgot that he's out of contract at season's end and is eligible for free agency. It'll be interesting to see if he attracts any attention from other clubs. Fingers crossed he signs on the dotted line soon.

NON-MFC: Round 07, 2022
What an absolute scrap! Well done Port. 4 goals 18 behinds speaks for itself.

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
Even with our outs, I still think we get the job done reasonably comfortably. Lever and Viney are welcome returns not to mention Tmac who looked a class above in the VFL last weekend. It'll be interesting to see how Melksham is used today. Maybe a defensive forward role on Sicily?

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Petty has been outstanding in his first two games back. Loved his progression last year but he's gone to a new level so far this season. Easy to see why he's so highly rated internally.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
This team continues to astound. This was an ugly game, make no mistake. Our scoreline was hideous, our kicking into the forward line was largely out of character and we simply just looked out of sorts all night. However, even when this team operating at 40%, it's still enough to keep teams in check. That 5-10 burst in the third was all it took to put the result beyond doubt. Bowey for Prime Minister.

From Best Seat in the House to Best 22
Loved JJ's game this year. Has taken to the wing like a duck to water. He's a much better kick than I initially thought as well.

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Geelong kicking into gear now. Cameron could have a double digits sort of day if this continues

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Love the look of Schultz and Swikowski.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
If you count Jackson's goal in the second, we had a run of 11 goals all kicked by different players. EDITED: Slight statistical error, whoops.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
I don't think it's be brought up yet, but how bloody awesome was Bowey's intercept and goal? Kid can seriously play.

Max is back with a (censored) vengeance!

TEAMS: Rd 05 vs GWS
The 'Wilbury' returns! Gee our defensive depth is something to behold. All of Tomlinson, Smith and Petty could present a case as to why they deserve to be the third tall behind May and Lever.

2022 AFL Season - Demon Highlight Videos
Loving the content! Assuming you're taking the top 3-4 performers from every game, it goes to show what an impressive array of performers we've had over the first month of the season. Only Petracca and Langdon have been featured twice!

NON-MFC: Round 4, 2022
Ed Langdon might have some GOTY competition... Shai Bolton is a deadset freak.
-
CASEY: Rd 03 vs Williamstown
Goals to JVR, Laurie and Mitch White so far apparently

NON-MFC: Round 4, 2022
Terrible decision against Maynard. Brilliant effort.

CHANGES: Rd 05 vs GWS
I know he didn't have a great game but I think the death penalty is a tad harsh.
