Jordan is still very young and developing. Importantly his foot skills are excellent which is better than most. I’d say it’s a development year at Casey. I saw the 2nd quarter and he was outmuscled once but delivered two beautiful passes lace out. Likely half back or wing role.

Lockhart probably equal with Hore for best 1st year player. Hannan Fritsch Hore Lockhart. Good talent out of VFL and our Casey link is working out. Mitch Lewis is another one still to watch at Casey

That’s my opinion. Plenty of trolls on here ready to shoot you down for an opinion. Both Lockhart and Hore have had to work hard to get into AFL and it shows in how they play. My point is plenty of low draft picks seem to be naturally talented (yes like Morton, Toumpas and Petracca even) but their work rate. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.

Battlers by my intentions was players not versed with natural skills but they battle on. Big hearts. Battle on. Key going despite adversity. Neither are naturally gifted. Petracca and a few more could learn from them about the struggle to realise your dream and then finally have it. I was a fan of them both as VFL Players. So DD LOL you caveman.
