  1. Gawn and Lever obviously in if they are fit. If Petty is not right, then I think JKH is the most likely. We will need leg speed against the Bulldogs.
  2. Not sure we should put Nev Jetta back in this week. Needs more match condition. I think a full game at Casey this week then off to the NT.
  3. Angus Brayshaw had an outstanding 2018 and his Brownlow result saw us having high expectations for 2019. I think he had a satisfactory year but not the equal of 2018. Our rating shows him Top 5 so far but obviously it’s been a below par year all around. Brayshaw is a big part of our future and I think he just needs to work on a quick 5 metre burst more. Nonetheless he will be a key midfielder for many more years.
  4. Melbourne should offer Clarry a contract extension to 2025 just to kill off such rubbish.
  5. Agree. “Good to see the Dees have a win” was the pitiful tone on Monday morning. I think they only wanted us to win to help their footy tips. We are still a “nice” club with a series of self destruction activity, we lose the unlosable games or cruelty cuts our key players down through injuries.
  6. Definitely have Ed Langdon in the frame. But his cost rises each week and we need to use a 1st rounder this year. Dan Butler is another who seems better at AFL level than VFL. Has the grunt and goal sense we need. Swap for a 4th round or as a delisted free agent Rough chance that we might have a crack at Nakia Cockatoo. He fits us perfectly. Injured a lot!!! But Cats will have cap$$ issues so he might be gettable if we give up a 3rd round pick. (Pick around 42-45).
  7. Agreed. My view as expressed earlier.

Cometh the hour, cometh the man The Weid needs the rocket up him
  9. Anyone calling for Omcd to be back is crazzzzzy.
  10. Caleb Serong is a safe pick. Good skills and smart. Plays like Ben Ainsworth or Robbie Gray type. Brodie Kemp is the special type. Fast. Athletic. Reminds me of Dangerfield at times. Would be ready to go round 1 2020 imo
  11. Nooooooooooo way. He is very good just as he is. Not a forward at all

Agree. Competitiveness is lacking. Goes at 1-2 contests then is wasted. One effort only. Needs some mongrel tablets. Play like there is no tomorrow.
  13. Agree $1000 fine at worst
  14. Obviously need to replace some injuries (Hore, Petty, Tmcd) and bring back Lever and Gawn. Likely ins are definitely Gawn & Lever. Would love to give Bedford a run to show how desperately vital a small forward is. Hibberd May Lever Salem Frost Lewis Fritsch Viney Brayshaw Petracca Weid Hannan Bedford Preuss Hunt Gawn Harmes Olive r Jones Lockhart Dunkley Anb Key missing - Jetta Melksham Tmcd Hore Vandenburg JSmith
  15. Lack of a quality small forward again today. Plenty of opportunities went missing.

Weid is really struggling. No second efforts. His usually reliable kicking is lacking. His miss in the second qtr today from 30 metres out was disgraceful. He missed everything and only just made 30 metres. No contested marking makes him completely one dimensional. Need to persist but definitely needs a stick of dynamite somewhere. Talent only gets you so far. Attitude and hard work are needed at AFL level.
  17. 6 Oliver 5 Harmes 4 Tmcd 3 Fritsch 2 Frost 1 Petracca
  18. Add tmcd and Petty Add Hore. Broken collarbone.
  19. Omcd, Spargo and Keilty are on the “potential delist” group.
  20. Need to make an offer to Dan Butler from the Tigers. Maybe a 3 year deal would get it done. Aggressive type who knows how to hit the scoreboard. Also he stays on the ground. We usually have “3 up, zero down “ in marking contests. Also Ben Keays from the Lions may be worth a late draft pick 70s. Having a great year in NEAFL but cannot crack a game due to Charlie Cameron.
  21. Smith and Vandenburg are difficult to get on the park. Tragic really given they both add a lot when fully fit. Fingers crossed for 2020
  22. Good to hear Jordan was one of the best. Still a youngster at only 18. Great skills.
  23. Top 10 likely after watching the last two games of the championships. Some good mids again in the group 1- Noah Anderson VM 2- Matthew Rowell VM 3- Brodie Kemp VC 4- Caleb Serong VC 5- Thomas Green ALLIES 6- Lachlan Ash VC 7- Deven Robertson WA 8- Hayden Young VC 9- Mitch O’Neill ALLIES 10- Dylan Stephens SA
  24. Yes absolutely. Anb was running around but had no impact whatsoever. Is he a midfielder or a half/small forward. Neither on yesterday’s effort.
  25. - midfield poor - umps killing us - Petty on Hipwood (Goodwin you are a fool)
