Angus Brayshaw had an outstanding 2018 and his Brownlow result saw us having high expectations for 2019. I think he had a satisfactory year but not the equal of 2018. Our rating shows him Top 5 so far but obviously it’s been a below par year all around. Brayshaw is a big part of our future and I think he just needs to work on a quick 5 metre burst more. Nonetheless he will be a key midfielder for many more years.

Lack of a quality small forward again today. Plenty of opportunities went missing.

Weid is really struggling. No second efforts. His usually reliable kicking is lacking. His miss in the second qtr today from 30 metres out was disgraceful. He missed everything and only just made 30 metres. No contested marking makes him completely one dimensional. Need to persist but definitely needs a stick of dynamite somewhere. Talent only gets you so far. Attitude and hard work are needed at AFL level.
