List changes who do we cut, trade or go after.
Agreed. Gawn and Oliver are A grade. Clarry just needs someone to tell him to kick the fuc&))$n goal rather than handballing the footy inside 25 metres of goal. Then heās dusty like !!

Rory Laird
Iād be as excited as Bruce Mcaveney seeing Lance buddy Franklin in action.

Trade Tom McDonald Thread
I just failed the concussion test. Iām missing next week.

NAB LEAGUE FINALS
Brodie Newman from Calder. Again showed his best. I only saw him play once this year against my local team (Chargers). He was like Easton Wood and Brendon Goddard type. Controlled the backline. Mature and composed and kicked with real purpose. Not a lot of hype but I reckon he is the AFL type. I will keep on seeing him as a pick 50-60 type. Think how the Hawks, Swans, Pies keep getting these types as 50+ bargains.

Petracca on the Move?
Couldnāt agree more. We can unleash hell in 2020 if we get fit and firing. We have the players to win it. Outside PACE and SMARTER inside 50 movement is the key.

Trade Tom McDonald Thread
Yes. I know. Itās like all the trades for Brayshaw, Petracca, Viney. Ridiculous isnāt it. Yet we have pages of pages. I think Gawn and Oliver might be the only safe ones if you read demonland. Crazy times and crazy posts ahead.

Trade Tom McDonald Thread
Whilst we are all in the mathematics of trying to improve the team, we should see how we can really engineer a coup. Letās trade both Tom McDonald and his brother Oscar McDonald to the Suns. The Ballarat boys would love the sun and surf. They both have frustrated the hell out of me and Iām yet to be convinced they would be up getting premiership medallions on the big dance day. What would the disparate and desparate Suns give? Ben King and pick 40 (start of 3rd round). why not see what rebuild we can truly deliver

Small forwards - what are our trading and draft options?
If other deals donāt eventuate, Riley Knight from the Crows could be worth a quick phone call. Or at least ask if he is interested. Apparently not offered a new contract by the Crows.
-
Isaac Smith
Isaac Smith for a pick like 55-60. Maybe a 2-year deal is all he wants and a fair $coin than the Dawks are offering.
-
Karl Amon
Agree. Amon would get the wing position opposite Langdon. But if Isaac Smith was an option, Iād take that option.
-
Petracca on the Move?
Trac was one player who could say he improved and can hold his head up after the year Would be ridiculous to entertain any trade deal yes he needs to build up his motor to play more midfield time but I feel he will still be a burst type midfielder and not a Josh Kelly or Tom Scully marathon running midfielder pure madness to even consider trading out Trac, or even Brayshaw or Viney
-
Rory Laird
Yes Iād certainly entertain trying to manufacture a trade deal. He is fast, skilled and knows when to defend before attacking. Probably worth a pick around the 20-25 mark.

Jones Re-Signs for 2020
Agree. One more year. Jonesy should get to 300 and play some good footy. Probably that should just about be the final curtain. Great player. Great heart. Served the club as a honest warrior. 5-year club captain. Triple B&F Winner Suns could then be the home for 2021.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Back to the point. After a horrendous year, the Dees need to recover or face ridicule and loss of faith in their ability. The demons shocking turnovers and lack of skilled midfield runners will see hopefully a focus on pace and ball use in trading and drafting strategy. A small forward capable of pressure, tackling and goal scoring also on the menu Retired - Maynard. Lewis. Delisted - Keilty. Garlett Likely to be delisted - Walker. TimSmith. (Both may retire due to chronic injury) JWagner Jkh Medical check - Kolodjashnij Vandenburg Trade options - Stretch. Anb. J-Smith Protected species. Spargo. Omcd Available targets - Ed Langdon is the main target with his pace suited. Others mentioned as possibly available Karl Amon , Adam Tomlinson and Dan Butler (Brad Hill likely to be Stkilda bound ) (Alex Keath - not quite a fit but Dees rumoured to be interested ) .

Trade Jack Viney Thread
We sacked James McDonald and it took years to recover any sense of leadership and stability. Sure let the asylum decide to commit another crazy act.

Trade Jack Viney Thread
Ffs mods kills this fu&($!)n crap threads now
-
Dan Butler
Itās a yes to Butler for a 50+ pick. Maybe 4th round swap pick 57. Heās not worth any more. Swap for Spargo any day!!
-
Splitting Draft Pick 3
Iām studying the markov model and Einsteinās theory of relativity. They are easier to understand then some of the trades. Not the logic but the complexity!!! Like a scientist, it may blow up but you have to keep in trying. I like the 7 players traded in proposals.

List changes who do we cut, trade or go after.
Time will tell. The shocking turnovers he had in EVERY game he played will need to be solved. His disposal is a killer to the team. We will see whoās off the mark.
-
Angus Brayshaw to Fremantle Rumours
Agreed. Itās fuc&)$n ridiculous.

List changes who do we cut, trade or go after.
Sorry if this is about Spargo, then it must be a joke. Spargo was gifted games in 2018. Didnāt get a rising nomination because his games were average. His final vs Eagles was a sign that he is not up to it. At his height, like Daniels and Gresham, you need real grunt and skills. Spargo is a nice player, kicking is horrendous and has no real pace. Imo he should be delisted or traded now.

List changes who do we cut, trade or go after.
Add trades of Stretch to Crows for Jenkins and ANB to Power for Amon. Busy off season if we get daring. Langdon for 2nd round-pick 21 works.

Damien Barrett's scathing assessment of the MFC
I believe Barrett is what plumbers refer to as āsewerage that gets stuck and just smells putridā. Thatās about right.
-
The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Anyone think Conor Menadue from the Tigers could be a handy wingman. Has the pace and skills. Stuck in Tigers VFL Team. Clearly better than VFL standard.

EJ Whitten Legends Game 2019
Yes I watched it for 10 minutes. Sad to see legends deteriorate with age. It should be players who retired in the last 5 years. Jakovich could hardly move or bend. He was a champion for the Eagles but needed a walking frame last night.
