Footscray v Casey Demons - Round 15
From today’s game, only Corey Wagner should be elevated. He should replace either Anb or Hannan. I’d keep Dunkley in to see how he goes. Jkh is not really quite up to AFL in terms of delivery and intensity.

2019 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Not with pick 3-4. NEED quality midfielder with a low pick. There is at least 8-10 before Flanders.

Footscray v Casey Demons - Round 15
Agree. He stays at Casey to develop. Still a kid but I like his skill, smarts, pace and endeavour.

Footscray v Casey Demons - Round 15
11 AFL Listed MFC Players only. Dogs expected to win by at least 7 goals. Apart from Caleb Daniel (who is probably on the bench in their best 22), they have a fully fit squad!!! 19 AFL listed players. Amazing!!

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
In 2013, Dees won 2 games and had a percentage of 54%. Hadn’t played in finals for 7 years. But we got no priority pick!! Suns are expansion club so they do need help. Smart decision is to give them two priority picks at the end of round 1. One must be used and one to be traded for a single player. That way they should get 3 picks in the top 20 plus a very good player. Of course they also can offer big $$$ to a free agent.

2019 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Good call DD. I have watched Kemp in 4 matches and he has real speed. He can win the footy and use it. He can start forward and then move into midfield. Reminded me of a young Dangerfield. I hope he is available. I think he has risen up like a young Clayton Oliver. Kemp is also a good country Vic boy from the Wimmera.

PREGAME: Rd 17 vs Bulldogs
Mckernan and Himmelberg both were marked by omcd and were made to look like champions. They did destroy him.

PREGAME: Rd 17 vs Bulldogs
Please no Omcd. Has done nothing to deserve a recall. Has had a horrible 2019. Has definitely actually shown he is not up to AFL standard.

Footscray v Casey Demons - Round 15
Looking to see how #65 Liam Buxton-Wales goes this week. Impressed me earlier in the year and I think could be rookie opportunity at end of the year. Also will look out for bulldogs #56 Anthony Scott. Running wingman who played at Old Trinity and Richmond’s VFL team. Heard he is a goalkicking wingman who has realty shown this year in the Dogs VFL team.

Bryce Gibbs
Gibbs. No.

Footscray v Casey Demons - Round 15
Kk was always going to be a punt. Need to get him confident of a return. It’s now the danger time. One more concussion and I’d say it’s career over unfortunately.

CHANGES: Rd 17 vs Western Bulldogs
Gawn and Lever obviously in if they are fit. If Petty is not right, then I think JKH is the most likely. We will need leg speed against the Bulldogs.

Injury List - Season 2019
Not sure we should put Nev Jetta back in this week. Needs more match condition. I think a full game at Casey this week then off to the NT.

Demonland Player of the Year - Round 16
Angus Brayshaw had an outstanding 2018 and his Brownlow result saw us having high expectations for 2019. I think he had a satisfactory year but not the equal of 2018. Our rating shows him Top 5 so far but obviously it’s been a below par year all around. Brayshaw is a big part of our future and I think he just needs to work on a quick 5 metre burst more. Nonetheless he will be a key midfielder for many more years.

Goddard: Trade Clarry
Melbourne should offer Clarry a contract extension to 2025 just to kill off such rubbish.

THE MELBOURNE WAY by George on the Outer
Agree. “Good to see the Dees have a win” was the pitiful tone on Monday morning. I think they only wanted us to win to help their footy tips. We are still a “nice” club with a series of self destruction activity, we lose the unlosable games or cruelty cuts our key players down through injuries.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Definitely have Ed Langdon in the frame. But his cost rises each week and we need to use a 1st rounder this year. Dan Butler is another who seems better at AFL level than VFL. Has the grunt and goal sense we need. Swap for a 4th round or as a delisted free agent Rough chance that we might have a crack at Nakia Cockatoo. He fits us perfectly. Injured a lot!!! But Cats will have cap$$ issues so he might be gettable if we give up a 3rd round pick. (Pick around 42-45).

2019 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Caleb Serong is a safe pick. Good skills and smart. Plays like Ben Ainsworth or Robbie Gray type. Brodie Kemp is the special type. Fast. Athletic. Reminds me of Dangerfield at times. Would be ready to go round 1 2020 imo
